Yep, as a cellist, can confirm. I recently had a concert where part of the uniform was having your hair down (???) And it was terrible! My hair got tangled in my tuning pegs. Don't EVER try playing a full concert with your hair down.
Probably cause they r old hate comments that no one likes so back to the very end of the comment section. Also I love ur pic, I always loved Disney's Robin Hood👍
To all the people saying they don't look like they want to be there, I play the cello, and I don't smile. Why? Because I'm too busy focusing on the notes and how I move my fingers, you can't really expect them to look at the crowd and smile while playing their instruments, they'll lose focus!
Gracie Davis Preach, sister, preach! I play cello as well and I purse my lips just the slightest when playing because I'm focusing. Not everyone can pull a Taylor Davis and smile into the camera while they play!
Is it? I play the violin and I've always been very curious about playing cello. I know that my music teacher has one at school so I was thinking about giving it a try.
LanaLucija - I see what you're saying about there being a lack of passion and emotion on their part and I agree. I was looking at it more from a tribute perspective if that makes sense lol. Like the fact that people are still honoring MJ in their own way is probably what would make him cry. Like "people still care about me even after all the lies and b.s. that's been said over the years" ... okay their performance might not have made him cry lol (but then again we don't know, he was a very sensitive man), but I know it would have humbled him (even though he was always humble)... but I see what you're saying performance wise.
LanaLucija When critiquing someone, you want to build them up with helpful suggestions on how to improve, not tear them down publicly in the manner in which you have. Wisdom and knowledge to learn how to help and teach comes with years, Lana, and since you are 13, I see you have a lot more learning to do in that area. Those four young ladies did a fantastic job in performing in front of an audience! They conducted themselves professionally, and played their best for them. They made some mistakes that you caught. Point them out kindly so that they can correct them and they can perform better the next time. If you are that much better, be a mentor, not a critic. There are enough critics in the world. I am close to 60 years old, be patient, be kind, it goes a lot further than arrogance.
LanaLucija Just keep in mind that there will ALWAYS be someone better, brighter and stronger than you. When you meet them then use the opportunity to learn if they chose not to crush you. Just be grateful you have had the right exposure.
Seriously, to all of the critics; how many can play like the two cellos (professionals). Remember the golden rule. Life is full of enough crap without people adding additional pain to others. Be nice!
I swear Micheal’s spirit was probably moon walking through that stage blessing each one of them individually because they look so GODDAMN CONCENTRATED. AMAZING SHOW, LADIES! BRAVO!
joopsandgoops exactly. Because you can’t focus on the emotion when you’re trying to play a really hard piece. As a cello player, it’s really hard to try to focus on the hand position, the bowing and getting the notes right. Much less trying to show facial expression.
And it's funny because I can tell that they are actually into it. The way they communicate by looking at each other and the way (mostly the second person from the left) they move.
yes 2cellos are amazing and no one can compare to them, that doesn't diminish the fact these girls are brilliant. Cello is a very hard instrument, these girls make it look easy so props to them.
Alicia Nicolas I've played for 2 years and always wanted to play the cello cuz my two older brothers played it,next year I'm going into three years which is my whole middle school year
NOICE!!!!! Keep it up, queen! I'm 10 and I play bass! I'm very tall, so others thought it was fitting for me, didn't play just cuz of dat tho! And NEVER think that because of you size, you can't play certain instruments. I have a friend who also plays bass, and she's pretty short. Others doubted her, but she still plays!
I am hearing something about people saying they look like they don't want to be there wich makes no exact sense at all but I am guessing it is the "is Annie ok?" Comments...
Mad respect to these people. I’ve been playing my cello for 2 years and can barely play songs like Apache, Dragonhunter, Wexford Circle, etc. Can only imagine how long they’ve been playing.
To reader: You are an amazing person, don't forget that. You can do anything you could dream of. Don't let anyone put you down, it can be hard, but you can do it. Stay positive, again easier said then done but you can. You are a one of a kind and you are amazing, no matter what anyone says. ❤️❤️❤️

Hi Miss, i can see that you like the good music. I recommend you the next tribute to MICHAEL JACKSON: czcams.com/video/zI8-Y0uZZnM/video.html Do you agree that it is the best tribute?
I can't understand the people who say they look like they haven't fun . I am playing the violin and i am focusing on my notes i can't consentrate on my face and many people say i look angry
NaziWeeb The comments with more likes are at the top and obviously no one is liking the comments that say they looked like they didn’t enjoy it there Also those comments are probably really old
It’s a rare treat to find videos with really cool songs on cello. I play it myself and some of my friends had no idea what it was. I am the only cello in my orchestra and I love when I can hear others play.
If there is a person in these comments saying that they look robotic then I'll tell you why. They have to focus on where they're fingers are going, they can't look into the puplic and smile they can't focus then. I play violin so I know what it's like playing an instrument
I personally play the cello and I can agree with you. Although I really don’t look at my intonation all that often as you are supposed to be focusing on the music it looks like they are looking at their bow direction and styles.
From what I see most of the time they’re staring at the ground. They don’t have any sheet music either. I play the cello, and I’ve memorized all the positions for the fingers, so I’m able to move and look into the crowd every few times. They seem like they have enough experience to do that. In the case of an orchestra I can look up at the conductor while moving and looking at the music.
Is no one gonna talk about how amazing this was, this probably took them years just to learn this song...just how they literally played so well together!!!🤯
I miss my orchestra class. We all had to be tested by a woman seperately in a secluded room, on a chosen song of our own and she would rate us. When she got to me she stood and clapped for me. I never thought she would even like what I played especially since it was just a small piece and because I taught myself to play with only 3 strings since my 4th popped off. Or rather my E string. I played the notes from my E string on my A string. She still gave me a standing ovation. It shocked me, I blushed out of embarrassment which is something I hate doing in public and when we got our reports back the next day I got a golden paper saying I made superior +! And it turned out that I was the only one who made superior plus for my beautiful tone, and quality, and how my gesture was while playing and at the bottom she added how she was astonished to see me perform using only 3 strings. I have never had any other great award given since because my 6-8 years of playing ended abruptly.. But it was an amazing moment for me. Especially since I never saw myself as a skilled type. But these young ladies did a wonderful job..
people talk about them being robotic and i don’t know but they don’t sound like they know how difficult it is to play an instrument sometimes. of course it can depend on the piece but i’d rather look at my hands to remember where i’m at in the music or to make sure i stay on tempo.
Is it weird that I imagining a Wildebeest running across the wildlands and a lion chasing after them to this? One of the Wildibeest is singing "Annie Are You Okay?" to the one that is falling and the lion is creeping up on them. It gets more tense as the song progresses but the lion eventually eats it. Don't even ask where my imagination got that from. Aside from that, this is a great cover.
To all of the people who say that they look like they don't want to be there, I have played the violin for about 6 or 7 years and never in my time did I smile and pay attention to the music at the same time unless I could play the music while I was sleeping.

I play the violin and I almost never smile when I play becuse I'm so focused.
BadBets glad that I'm not the only one that purse my lips when I play!
Yeah same here. Violist, takes extreme skill to be able to smile while performing.
Great performance but why is there at least 1 guy who coughs before a musician starts
So he can clear his throat early instead of having to in the middle of their performance, to be polite
It is tradition by now. Concert not complete without it.
Or a crying baby
Weirdly in my orchestra my teacher actually sniffles and every body starts so she doesn't have to go like, GO she just sniffles really loud
There is always that rebel that breaks the silence
