    0:53 I hate how Brendan Poole’s first career win was stolen from him. If a car is involved in a crash and they’re in the lead at the time of caution and under the apron the shouldn’t even be counted. I was watching this race and I was confused and now I understand and I feel bad that his first career win was taken from because of NASCAR’s overtime rule.

    Does anyone get penalties for punting drivers off in NASCAR? Loads of those moves, in F1 or Touring Cars you’d get penalties (particularly frowned upon is launching up the inside of the final corner of the race and smashing the other driver into the gravel)

    • @jbaskinger41
      @jbaskinger41  Před 4 lety +1

      It’s a very gray area in NASCAR because in some case they’ll fine or park you, but in others, they let it go. I guess it’s really determined on how intentional it is. I’m confused at the ruling of some of these as well.

    • @patjohn775
      @patjohn775 Před 2 lety +1

      It’s like hockey. They let racers settle it themselves. If you’re known to be dirty others will punt you more frequently

    I truly thought brad died when Edwards wrecked him. It’s one thing for it to be an accident like when brad got him, but Carl really went out there and tried to kill a man and he with a smile gave his explanation which was basically “shit happens, he deserved it anyway”. I like Carl but that was too cold blooded for me.
