Ya it getting a bit old and cringe it makeing me debate to keep watching or not.
With how much they can fill up chests it might be a cool idea to make a Jewel case item. It could have almost infinite space and allow you to search for specific modifiers or sizes on your jewels. Wouldn't mind either if it was an expensive item requiring a pog or black chromatic steel
I think making it easier to search for jewels is great
Long term though, I think most people will just end up putting jewels into their AE2 or RS systems and search with that
@@henryyochum1410 it's typically a bad idea to store items with a lot of NBT data in RS/AE2 disks, as it increases lag and can eventually corrupt the chunk they're stored in.

iskall: put your chestplate in your hotbar so you can swap between it and the elytra at will! i do this all the time in my hardcore world and it's so so nice. that way you can put your chestplate on easily when going into a dungeon, but still use your wings when zooming between rooms
idk if just me but it doesn’t work on vh i think so i have it on top middle slot of my inventory so i can open my inventory and right click for quick change
i just have a data pack that lets you combine the chestplate and the elytra

@@puckbongers9111we respect that but it isn’t a recent problem. It is always something else, most of the time other projects or big updates on the modpack. But the inconsistent uploads and short series makes (atleast my) interest in the series drop a lot and i think a lot of other fans would agree. Still very fun when he uploads tho ✌️

@@CompressLuft he has personal problems. he said in a stream that he is on call and if he gets that call he has to drop everything and urgently drive 4 hours to another city in sweden and he has to stay there for at least a day.

Hey Iskold 😊 as a newer vh player, I wish you would spend a bit more time on explaining your decisions when for example you decide if a jewel or an artifact is "a keeper" or when reroling prefixes. I found this series very helpful so far, especially the part where you build the sickel and hammer and explain the jewel usage.
As useful as that would be it would lengthen videos and slow the pace causing the series to be more drawn out
Also every artifact is a keeper coz that is what u need to complete the game

I mean if he explains every single jewel or reroll on his gear we'd be here for hours. But generally, for a jewel, if the size is too big it's not a keeper or if the modifier is either a bad modifier or too low a roll. On gear it heavily depends what you're looking for but the same rules apply, if it's a bad modifier/one he isn't looking for then you dont keep, or if it's a good one but the value is too low then you reroll
Later in the game, you can get a focus called a chaotic focus which rerolls the value on a modifier, not the modifier itself, so when you get there, it can be worth to keep a lowrolled modifier and just chaotic focus it, but I believe those don't become common until like level 65 or so
@@apersonwhomayormaynotexist9868 thanks for the elaboration. That's my point: what is a bad modifyer or a bad roll? When I look at gear and jewels, there are so many different stats and abilities, that it's very hard to find the good ones 😊

Vault hunter is a series I never know I needed but now I want.
I feel like you guys should add some default backpack configs into the game E.g. a small bag with all the scavenger items, I’m sure there’s others that can be added too
By this I mean in the load configurations file
Priority with backpacks to me would be a way to rename saves, combine two smaller saves in a bigger save, show us the current content and the save on the same screen, not needing to click on the brain to slide jei in the backpack, allowing us to switch spots in a save without having to remove both and resave both. And then some presets.
you never fail to make these episodes entertaining! the questbook is fire tbh. really shows a sense of progress and you sir are an overachiever! love this series!!

This is a bit weird for me. I understand and respect the choice to take a break from youtube. What gets me is the excuse “i wasnt planning to take a break”. He is making it sound like he only had the opportunity to tell us he isn’t going to upload for a while before he is taking the break. He’s had almost 3 months time to just take 2 minutes writing a small community post. I understand it isnt the highest priority but still…. He’s making it sounds like we are disrespecting him for asking him to just let us know whats going on. I think its incredibly disrespectful of him to just say. For everyone that's curious about why iskall hasn't posted another episode in a while, it's explained in one of his VODs on his other channel. In a nutshell, iskall is on call for something extremely important to the point where if he gets the call he has to drop everything and drive 4 hours to a place in sweden to stay somewhere for a day. He's been really nervous and on edge about this but is excited to get back to making these videos again. Once another video releases, he plans to explain the situation. I hope he's doing okay and that it has nothing to do with his family but as we can all come to understand, life happens and it's entirely out of his control. It might be a good idea to make it so that the scav hand in alters can pull from inventories held by the player (if that's possible)
Personally I would love if it just ticked up the number of items when you picked them up rather than dropped them off.

What i am most shocked about is the fact that he was offended about wanting an update and saying that there was a death to someone close to him (RIP). But this exact thing would not have happened if he just posted an update on the situation, and he could have just been vague instead of someone from his CZcams community barging in and wanting to know what was going on.

I'm not surprised honestly. A few times when he stopped uploading on youtube like this I would try watching his livestreams to at least get some Iskall content, thinking that maybe I'll get into it. And every time I would stop because within 20 minutes of me joining his stream, he would start trash talking his youtube audience and especially his Hermitcraft audience. And it's not complaining that they're demanding videos or anything like that, it's straight up judging people for daring to watch anything but his Vault Hunters streams. Sure, made me lose a lot of respect for him.

Said it a lot before but iskall has no dedication for his audiance anymore. ever since hermiot season 6 he makes awesome plans get people invested just to quit a third of the way done, and then he just does that on repeat over and over again.
He dosn't realise the privilage he has to do the work he's doing, and the fact he dont have time for a 2 min vid or someting when he streams 20+ hours a week is so hypocritical.
You can already get a transmogrification table, you just need to interact with one for the quest. I learned that today when I got mine and I look epic now!

I love how you talked about the perception of "scav vaults are too difficult" on your stream then do back to back scav vaults just to prove they're possible and exciting!
After failing 3 scav vaults in a row while missing a single item - I tend to agree that they are too difficult...
@@Makverus That's called being unlucky, not the vault being too difficult. If you were missing multiple items and being nowhere near completing, then it might be too difficult, but missing only a single item means you were close you just either were unlucky or were playing inefficiently. Now, being unlucky is part of the game, if every vault was always completable no matter what there would be no challenge or point. But there are also things you can do like changing your skills to make up for inefficiencies. If you're slower at killing mobs, upgrading damage or damaging abilities, if you're slower at looting upgrading your tools can help.
@@apersonwhomayormaynotexist9868 Being unlucky is precisly me problem with scav vaults. I get that it's a part pf VH, but it shoudn't be the biggest thing that decides if you can finish a vault. With elixirs and monoliths you can do something to improve your chances - it's rare that you straight up don't find a monolith or a loadstone. But, for example, not finding any gilded poi? That can happen a lot. And if you have a rare item that should drop from a gilded chest - you are screwed.
@@Makverus It's part of the game. You can always bail. I suppose you're just *really* unlucky, but I've been able to complete most of my scav vaults.

How about having an elixir bar in the bottom every vault, finishing which gives xp and some item (elixir vials?) which can be used in crafting recipes or enhancing stuff? or potions.

iskallman, love vault hunters played since 1.16 but my world got corrupted and it even deleted my back ups. First tried getting back in with 1.18 but update 9 is really what sold me. Keep it up!!

Question: Is there a system to prevent endless ore duping with Copiously? Since you stated it works with Silktouch, can I mine ore, double it, then place down again and repeat? If so you may have to implement a Tag to the ore to prevent the duplication or only work on fortune. (There may already be a system in place/doesn't work and in that case nvm then) :)
There is already a system in place! Copiously can only trigger on naturally generated ores, like how shriekers won't summon a warden if you break and replace them.

The copiously has only a very low chance of procing. It would never let you endlessly dupe ores with such low odds
@@monatae9725 yes if you break an ore with copiously and silk touch it and place it down again it has an nbt tag that identifies it as a non-naturally generated ore which nullifies the copiously effect, so basically, copiously only works if the ore is naturally genned and not if its placed down by a player
