I am amazed that you still had HDD even in 2023, it pretty much died out in 2010 or something lol

@@TheKainzor i have a friend that always talks about cpus and gpus but has no idea what ssd is or what it's good for lol, he's still on hdd
he prob thinks loading times are cpu/ram stuff and hdd is just for holding shit, that's it lmao

if its the 870 qvo not 870 evo then fs seeing thats a qlc drive which has way worse latency and low queue depth iops.

I recently installed an Nvme.... Yeah - massive difference. I have only run HDD's until now. Can't afford to replace my whole rig (it's 70TB), but I will be Nvme'ing or SSD'ing all the internals soon, and turfing the HDD's out for external storage. I'd prefer faster, smaller internal drives than large, slow ones that can be added outside anyway (everything is USB 3.2 so... pffff.... ) But for anyone considering making the jump to Nvme - yes, do it. Well worth it. I'm only on Gen 3 4X due to my old mobo - still stupidly fast.

As with all these Bethesda Creation Engine games, the save files start out small, but become really big, so the problem of long loading times magnifies the more you play the game. Even Skyrim and Fallout 4 have really long load times on a mechanical HD. The game has to remember all your impacts on the world, from characters you've encountered to where you put all your pieces of cheese, loo rolls or whatever!

    Very educative video 🙏
The Nvme its like an alien techs lol😂😂
But from my prospective SSD in open world games is more than enough💪😎🌹TY

it is not alien, but only what replacing sata, nothing more until something better replace nvme 😊

Loading levels with a hdd in this game kinda reminds me of skyrim on ps4 😊

i bought one 2 days ago cause my motherboard only supports PCIe Gen 3.0 x 4 so i cant get 4.0 speeds. but if your motherboard can handle it you might as well go for 4.0 (or if it doesnt, it still doesnt hurt to get 4.0 since itll just be 3.0 speeds)

SSD doing a great job here 4 second of delay against NVme which is 10 times faster.

There's more going on in the loading screen then just reading from disk, that's why the gains fall off. But it's still a big improvement.
