Ryan was only a little upset when the clown kidnapped the sister, but when he thought the cat was in danger he got hyper aggressive.

The fact that Ryan didn't realized that the kidnapper is the person from the very beginning and the rotting body in the attic is the guys mother, that would have been cooler if he connected the dots. Which is also the reason why the guy snapped when the protagonist's mother scolded the guy, he literally experienced the same thing.

EXACTLY! The mister is the one who killed his mother with the hammer at the beginning. He kidnapped the sister and the brother, because he wanted to shelter them, since he discovered their mother was abusing them and didn't really plan to kill them or hurt them (that's also why the sister told the brother "the mister does everything I tell him to"). He was a scarred man who was abused by his mother, became traumatized and decided he would have been better at taking care of the children, compared to their own mother. And as you said, that's also the reason why he snapped on their mother and killed her.

@@xy9118 the beginning of the game shows the scene of the mister and his abusive mom. Notice the subtitles call him “sarao.” There’s also a diary in a room of the house that belonged to Sarao’s mom talking about how she doesn’t know why she’s so violent towards him and that he looks more like his father growing up and that may be the reason. The scene shows sarao killing his mom and then later you connect the dots and it’s the mister who hid his mom’s body in the attic. So it’s like a similar trauma

I'm not truly surprised at the ending, revealing the kid wasn't upset at the mom's death. She was clearly abusive, emotionally/mentally if nothing else, and it was clear the protagonist didn't really care about the mother when she suddenly disappeared from the home, and even when she reappears there is no sense of relief or excitement for the mom's return.

Ryan got the true ending,which is by getting their mom killed,the sister now only have renya to take care of since his sister was crazy for her mom's attention but renya wanted his sister's attention,you can see that the sister doesn't care much about renya when he told his sister that he's here too(exam paper scene)so that explains why renya is smiling at the end
I thought he smiled because he develop a liking to killing (hence the clown he sees)

@@Zane618 what no...the clown was him finding an excuse in his mind for his sister going missing. He created the clown in his mind and then the same clown disappeared as soon he was kidnapped and found his sister.
So, to sum up this story, the mister is the character you play as in the beginning of the game when he takes the hammer to his mother. Ryan completely missed this lol. The kidnapper’s name is Sarao and in his house you can find his mom’s diary. She says that she doesn’t know why she is violent towards her son other than the fact that he looks like his father as he grows up. Sarao had enough of the abuse I guess and took her out. I don’t believe that Sarao had any desire to harm the kids, he saw their situation as similar to his own and thus wanted to help them perhaps. The clown is nothing but a figment of Renya’s imagination. An excuse for why his sister went missing and to cope with being alone. The reason Renya smiles after seeing his mother being taken down, is because he saw her for what she really was, an abusive monster. He was happy because now she is gone and can no longer harm him or his sister. The reason Sarao snaps is due to his experience with his own mother, which is why he struck her down after he was pushed.

It's a very interesting concept, we always have the impression than "there our character is in kind of dream or hallucination, too unrealistic..." but no, the most creepy situations always explaned in the end with a brilliant fall, can't wait for the next, they are so talented.

Chilla's Art games never fail to disappoint and watching Ryan play them makes it all the better
100% right. Whats bugging me is that the ideas are actually pretty good, but the implementation is sooo bad. Not to mention that its ALWAYS the same concept. I dont get how ppl still like their games and protect them, like they made it. Chillas Art is putting less and less time and love into their games and it seems like only few ppl are noticing it

It feels very repetitive like you said and as much as I love their games, the intertwining story is not fun and I feel like there are so many points they need to branch out of that and polish their games up some more before releasing them because literally just a month and a half ago everyone was playing their latest game. @@abu584

i guess it would be more like the True Ending rather than the "Good Ending." tbh i'm actually shocked Chilla's didn't have multiple endings for this one. there could have been a lot of interesting ways to resolve the story. thanks for your content as always, Ryan! :D

Ryan you should try the new forgotten memories maze update. Me and my friend had a lot of fun playing this update and I have no doubt that you'll love it too. There's loads of scares, new cosmetics, new animatronic looks, and new things etc.

I'm scared this will turn into a scenario where the man was mentally disabled, which is why he asked to play with the kids, and he ends up dying in the shed because he was locked in and could not get out. That would have been a horrible twist.
