- The Thunderball Fists is the Legendary Maliwan pistol.
It is available from Captain Flynt.
It is always in shock element, and it creates shock orbs that deal AOE damage.
It is a strong weapon that is sometimes overrated in its potency, but it definitely does not suck. - Hry

It's extremely good for Gaige. I really like it in WEP in the stalker/skag areas. It makes that part so easy I'd recommend it for any Gaige's inventory. It's just a very good CC option for her period.
At 2:22 i believe the loader type you couldn't remember the name of was a BUL loader.
Yeah, both the bul loader and pwr loader can reflect bullet

Axton might get better use out of it, The bullet has 100% splash damage and the shock ball is 150% splash damage and I think both get grenade boosts.

You can pair this with the Transformer shield and regenerate shields up close. Also would remove the need to keep reminding people that it can kill you.
This weapon is a beast on Gaige.

Ironically, my Mac came out the same year (possibly even the same month) the game released. My computer is as old as the game, and plays it like a pro. :o
VArkelS use Bordertool if you want Gibbed for Mac.
The size of that shock explosion reminds me of shooting from shock rocket launcher in BL1
Use it with the Trasnformer shield. You can charge your shield and you're immune to shock damage and restock launcher amo with the shields absorb.
I got one of these on my Gaige run and first Flynt kill, and loved it. I got a lot of use out of it w/ speccing into LBT and used it up till around level 16. With the right Gaige setup, it can be deadly.
it's a personal favorite on an Anarchist Gaige, though I do have a bad habit of killing myself sometimes with it

I think the thunderball fists are a good utility weapon when used with the transformer
It's a good gun with Gaige, even more now that the Twister loose his monstrous power. With an elementary Gaige build it's one of my first choice of weapon, it can deal huge electrical damage. But with an Anarchy build, it's a potent weapon, but you have to be prudent if you have an heavy amount of stack, the electrical orb can kill you, if a bullet decide to land at your feet, with 700% more damage, you're dead.

It's not that bad. But before i was able to roughly 2 shot a badass psycho with 400 stacks of anarchy and it's possible anymore now.

Not a good enough player to play at your level but at lower level I love this weapon for dealing with stalkers.
Just lay a line of shots between yourself and them. With halfway accurate timing they walk into shock balls and then they're helpless.
This gun is a really good gun when playing as Gaige and Axton, and pretty decent on Zer0, though it's not a gun I would recommend for him. Axton can make really good use of this gun considering that it might get a grenade damage boost to its splash damage. It's also pretty good on Maya.
I don't mind the legendary binder for maya when I'm not using a smg or blurred trickster build
This gun plus Mia plus bee shield is amazing at crowd control
Luckily easier to farm now. Got it in 5 runs from Sparky Flynt. Great weapon for Gaige, also for Maya.
It kicks ass on Maya with Cloudkill. An AoE gun on an AoE character is always good.

My first thunderball fist was a perfect parts binary from the worrior.
Got one with Maliwan grip and mag size acc. from the snowman chest.
interesting that you demoed the weapon on units that have no shields (for the most part) and are robots, against which shock damage sucks :). BTF is great against heavily shielded bosses or raid bosses... i use mine when farming PPUI for crystals. great for heavy shield stripping on big slow units.
i not sure if it would wok on op 8 but with the transformer shield it can absorb the second shock ball and give you a rocket
When I first got the gun didn't know about the projectiles. I ended up killing myself in the shooting arena. The same thing happened with the Bunny lol. But I learned my lesson and as it turns out, Thunderball is a phenomenal weapon for Maya, especially in life tap situations. Also, it's fairly easy to get a second winds with this gun.

This is great with gaige for clearing mobs but isn't the most optimal option for raid bossing.

Something about reflecting bullets, massive damage at only the cost of accuracy, and a badass robot companion just really piques my interest. :)

Too good on Gaige. Pretty sure you can get burn damage to do more that 1000k burn damage per tick (at 72 only). I know that the Storm easily can.
it is not bad I am lvl 61 and I have deafeated pryo or pyro ( idk how you say it) Pete a lot using a lvl 53 version it was a struggle but it worked better than having a random shock weapon ( I didn't have the sand hawk) so in my opinion its amazing its not the bullet that does the damage its the after shock (lol) so if u got one use it.

Works damn well against stalkers.
It beasts the blue cave crystalisks in hayter's folly too. only takes 2 or 3 shots to kill them and no matter where you hit them its always a critical hit.

The Pirate dlc most likely for weapons like the Pimpernel and Sandhawk. Also, the Washburne Refinery is his favorite map which is also in the pirate dlc.
Thunderball Fists can find a decent home with a hellborn krieg.

Hey Fiber, unrelated comment, but I notice your PC runs really smoothly in the Washburne Refinery, but mine is lagging all over the place, especially when I look at any light sources. PhysX is set to low, and using a GTX 960
