- What's going on guys? This is VinylicPuma, back with another Borderlands video and today, i wanted to go over 10 of what I think are among some of the BEST Pistols in Borderlands 2! Like other videos from my Top 10 Best guns of their respective Weapon Types series, this video will rank pistols based on Power, Rarity and overall usefulness. Additionally, I'll be focusing on what the Best Pistols are for Salvador the Gunzerker, Gaige, Zero (Zer0), Axton, Maya and Krieg. So regardless of what character you play, I think you'll be able to get a lot out of this video!

0:41 its called the fire drill its a legendary weapon with a rainbow rarity skin, it has a 100% ignite chance so when the project hits the target it will immediately ignite the target, the gun is about 50% stronger than the infinity pistol and can only be obtained with 3rd party save editors i hope this was helpful for everyone.
I’m gonna take a wild guess and say it’s not obtainable on console?

Pocket Rocket - overshadowed by Harold, but sometimes Savage Lee’s stinginess frustrated me, and I didn’t want to spend 600 tokens before max level.
Rubi - carried my Salvador through TVHM since I didn’t want to do Tina’s dlc before UVHM.
Rubi is just bad compared to the grog. Grog is easy to acquire too.
Starting a new mode resets the dlc in that particular game mode so you could get in tvhm and then get it again in uvhm.

@@rmx39 rubi isnt bad at all though. its damage it 5 times higher than grog with 13% healing which is a fifth of the grog. so it still great with good damage and much higher healing than most moxxi weapons

The weapon helf was the Fire Drill.
Scrapped legendary, proto-Effervescent. Has a rainbowy Infinity style.
Particularity : No ammo consumption. Has 100% to ignite enemies. Always incendiary.

@@hotpinkpapaya if you kept your ps3/xbox 360, a save decryptor and use gibbed save editor you can get it. There are plenty of websites explaining how to do this.

I saw the Gub drop from the Bunker. And fire drills are good because class gets interrupted.

Can confirm that Maggie pistol drops from Bunker. Got one today farming for Sham. Still no Sham though.

Fire drill isnt even in the game without gibbed. Even then cant keep it when you save quit on console unless your the one with the modded account. Or have cheat engine on computer.
My gub fell from a normal spiderant.
you can leave the clan wars ending open to get the maggie and slagga in the same run, just don't kill the whole family before saving and quitting.

The Hector is honestly great for destroying Pyro Pete's shield. Not saying it's the best, but it makes him pretty easy.
Also *Fire Drills* hurt my ears
The Crit is great too, as long as the rats don't steal it when it drops lol
I like it for hectors soldiers they got beefy shields
great list like always, but for me the grog nozzle is number 2 because it saved my live more times than any rubi could, and its like the missing half of the dpuh, the dpuh is the "i kill everything" pistol and the grog is the "i make it easier to kill everything and heal you" pistol, the grog is basically the healer that every dd needs :D

Jolts ERASES Hyperius with gunnerang in 1-2 seconds with Krieg, it's ridiculous
The hornet is the best weapon ever : easy farm, high dropchance, can come with a x2 multiplier, looks cool and as i learned from this video : benefits from grenade buffs.
Tip : on your first playthrough farm knuckledragger for a hornet. Depending on which parts you get, it carries you through bloodshot stronghold. I even use a twin prefix hornet on wilhelm with maya cuz the bursts make a lvl 1 hornet more efficient than a lvl 13 teapot. Try it out try it out

I got a gunerang from farming Uranus. I believe I also got a Unkempt Harold from that same boss as well, although it could have come from another one in the Commander Lilith DLC.

I think the grog is also very good on Maya, if you spec into her Cataclysm tree, things around you just get wrecked without as much effort from you and the passive healing you get from things like cloud kill while you're holding the grog is amazing. And some of her other skills, like recompense also can trigger cloud kill which honestly the survivability the grog provides in normal mode could make you and unkillable crowd clearing machine with no effort on your part. It's really good

A bladed grog nozzle is awesome for a Zero melee build..at least it used to be unless it has been patched,
I really like the “Law” pistols. High damage, (theoretically) infinite fire rate, although only 9 ammo per mag (this is for my leather law, others may have more), which isn’t a huge problem. And a melee damage boost due to the mounted knife on them.

I managed to get a double penetrating Unkempt Harold (took me 10 hours total.) and holy shit is it OP. I’m aiming for two of them for Salvador. Side note: try the infinity pistol build for Sal. It’s really powerful when used correctly.
Zero can use his kunai for healing with the grog nuzzle
DPUH is so important for me. It is the only gun I have that can take down the rabids and get me out of the FFY. Very rarely can I kill even a single one before it reaches me. I just resign myself to knowing I'll be FFY soon and have the gun ready.
Salvador + unkept harolds + rough rider + grog nozzle=BROKEN
Especially with points into money shot and a class with +5 or 6 on money shot
But rough rider will be useable only with out of bubble gum skill

The Maggie is a really good gun for the Doppelgänger in pre sequel cause of the manufacture perk
Got jammy with the DPUH at level 58 UVHM. I didn't fancy farming tokens and so paid Savage Lee a visit, getting the DPUH after ten runs. I've heard it's a 0.43% drop rate.
Nobodys talking about the ladyfust plus bee combo? The amp dmg is added before the crit multiplier resulting in ridiculously high damage output!

You can also get a Maggie from the Loot midgets and J3NKINS in the Wildlife Exploitation Preserve. I love how fast you can dump a mag with this thing.
The Gub, Hornet, Maggie, Infinity, Gunerang, and any Unkempt Harold can all be farmed with Uranus in the Firght for Sanctuary as well. He drops all of them (not at once).

@@xlihadezlxjustagamer3365 They can be dropped anywhere but Uranus has and Cassius have higher chances to drop cause the legendary drop is much higher compared to others
the weapon in the start is the fire drill. in line with most other guns added in the commander lazy dlc, its a copy of an already existing gun. namely, the infinity. the only difference is that the fire drill is always incendiary. this gun is presumed to have been the unique effervescent for Lt. Avngr, but wasnt added to his drop pull due to a reason that you can guess yourself. it can only be used in game via save editing.

The Gunerang is great for Axton, but shitty for every other character, even in TPS. The one pistol I greatly disagree with, it should have been 10th or 9th best...

I'd really like to play anarchy gaige, rode deathtrap's coat-tails all the way to UVHM and lvl 65 or so. I tried a few different builds for anarchy, but I can't just *not die* like that. 😂
you can also farm the infinity in the new dlc. in The Burrow by the lietunant I believe by completeing bricks BFF mission. hope that tip helps anyone :)

The infinity can also be farmed from Lt. Angvar in the burrows after the bfffs side quest

Infinity pistol is there for sure, but I don't think they'll have effervescent rarity in BL3, at least not at launch.

The critical hit bonus on the lady fist is so good, that I used the lady fist from the original playthrough to get the lady fist in true vault hunter mode.
I'm doing the same now! Only played through fully w/ Maya so far. Couple it with slow corrosive pistol, burst off a few rounds, switch and still get the crit bonus; works in vehicles as well if equipped! Everybody seems to rate Salvador/s skill, but I can't get past not aiming weapons properly.
An Adrien Brody Predators Head/skin would be cool for Axton; could imagine him as a vault hunter! :D
You can get the Maggie farming Cassius in the Lillith DLC, I have gotten 2 so far, the most recent being the Trick Shot Maggie.
You can get any legendary from that guy it's not his main drop
