The Unforgiven drop stats: 3/10000 (or about 1/3333) for a world drop; 1/10 for a pearl drop; 1/8 for the Unforgiven specifically (only gen 1 pearls)
Overall, 1/266666.66 odds, or 0.00000375 (0.000375%). This is *72* times less likely than a perfect Sham drop.
When you account for the OP10, the odds jump to 1/533333.32
Edit: It's also 272.109 times less likely than the perfect Maggie (or 544.218 with level accounted).

Launchers are gonna be delayed a while. Those are some of the rarest things to get perfect rolls on. You have to roll the right grip, level, sight, exhaust, element, and prefix. It would probably take months to get recorded.

The best thing about this series is that you never know how long or how short the video is going to be depending on what Joltz is farming for.

He should do Infinity God Roll, on all Elements. Not too long of a farm since only factors are fire rate, damage and accuracy

a trick shot Maggie might be very good on gaige, the ricochet effect given by the trick shot prefix makes 100% of bullets go to ennemies

I think the Maggie or the Rex is my favorite pistol skins in Bl2. The Maggie looks so clean with the white, black, and pink, but the Gold on the rex looks pretty sick too.
I would love for him to do the Rex, it's so cool looking. But the distance to Bultoss feels like it takes 20 years

This was very different. So many world drops + the perfect Fastball before the Perfect Maggie.... Mind blown.
I love this series, it's great to see some other sort of content going on here. I know there are some farms in BL2 like the Conference Call that basically never happen but I think some light should be shed on the Deliverance or Sledges Shotgun
It's fun to see insanely fast farms like the Maggie, just one click and then you're done basically!

You should try the Greed Jolts. Since beating the "Treasure of the Sands... Again " allows you to be swallowed by the leviathan anytime you go to the light in wurmwater. For some reason, Scarlett spawns again and drops it everytime, letting you save quit farm for her gun. The Greed is pretty cool, with its unaltered ads speed and being a fire Jakobs
I hope at some point there's a 1 minute video where he gets a perfect roll in the first 5 runs.

Maggie is one of those drops that the best one, the God Roll is actually the best and there's no "better verison for x or y" is just one.

So going for a Jakob child you don't get a tediore grip and that's really helpful since the grind is 9 months at least unless you dip your moral skill tree to get multiple farms going at the same time

the Maggie is definitely my favorite borderlands 2 legendary Jakobs pistols are one of the only gun types that didn't feel like a downgrade from borderlands 1s guns so the Maggie will always be one of my favorite video game guns.

nerdge: joltz did you know that statistically having bad luck is reached way before the 980th run? on run 700 you already had more than 50% chance of having gotten the Maggie.
To do this you have to do 979/980 (because those are the ods of not getting the perfect maggie in a run) and then to the power of X (being X the numver of runs you are calculating your ods before start) so if you do 979/980 to the power of 980 thats like around 35% iirc, which means that you have 35% chance of not having gotten the Maggie by that run which means your chances of getting ot were 65% by run 980
this is because ods 1/980 mean that is expected that you get 1 perfect Maggie in 980 tries but that doesn't mean you are getting it on the last try.
That world drop Unforgiven from him was crazy.

Hey Joltz, i just wanted to say that you got me back in to borderlands 2 and now i am starting to map my playthroughs out before i do them.
For anyone curios, the odds of getting a 1/980 drop in 1470 (or less) runs is approximately 77.7%. This is easiest the unluckiest perfect farm so far, as every other farm has been above odds. Below you can find the odds, runs and luck of all of his perfect farms so far.

Hey guys, I needed to ask you guys a question. How do you guys do this farming stuff? As in, how do you know if a gun is perfect, how do you know where you'll find it, how do you identify the different parts of the gun and go, "oh, this isn't good it decreases fire rate", how do you even know if the gun exists? Sorry to ask so many questions, I wanted to try this stuff out since it looks fun, usually when I play a Borderlands game, i just play, finish the story then that's that. Sorry for the large wall of text. Really enjoy the vids bro, big love.❤❤

I got a world drop maggie when farming hodunk for a slagga.
I am really new to this game so i thought i encountered a glitch but I just heard you acknowledge this is a thing that can happen
Infinity sound like a interesting farm but would probably take a long time cuz of elements
For as long as I’ve been playing BL1, 2, and now 3 I still can’t tell just by looking at a weapons if it’s a god roll or not. Hell I can’t even tell what parts they come from especially on shield. I always have to bring up the picture of all the parts that someone put together.
Can’t wait to see a video from this that is 30 seconds long and you get the item in the first 10 runs. My suggestion for one of the next items is the KerBlaster. I want to see how you farm that efficiently, what route and jumps.
Crazy how rare legendaries were in Bl2 because my first one was the volcano from the Warrior which is a guaranteed legendary. Usually I hear people say their first was the hornet or from the previous story bosses.
Edit: meanwhile on Bl3 on my first playthrough I had 3 of the Doom shotgun drop so yeah it was game breaking and made the game very easy.
Legendaries are a 1 in 10 drop in BL2, so it's statistically pretty rare to make it to the warrior without one (even without any sidequests the main story requires a good amount of dedicated drop sources). That said, It took me multiple full playthroughs (including the warrior) to see my first legendary thanks to the non-legendary items in the warrior's dedicated lootpool and the tendency for legendaries to be thrown out of the map before you even know they've dropped. It certainly feels like substantially lower than 1/10 in game, especially considering the time it takes to actually *get* to the drop source for most items. I do wish we had BL3's loot indicators, I would love to know how many I missed in my playthroughs because of clipping or OOB issues and how much of it was just genuine bad luck.
@@Kandall05161 part of it was because I was new to borderlands so I played it like it was Fallout so I didn't do farming at all. Nowadays every playthrough I do I get more than 20 legendaries during the storyline as I always do the snowman and midget farm.
Whenever you do the badaboom, will you farm best for damage and best for rocket jumping or just 1 of them?
I can’t say I’ve ever seen a day this lucky. You got a god roll on every world drop too except for the unforgiven. I would’ve expected to see this many world drops from quad spawns😂 love you man❤️
Storm front or some type of shield farm would be cool. Transformer and deliverance double run could be cool too.
I'd love to see you farm a perfect infinity for the next one, tbh. I would think perfect would be Vladof grip, and vengeful for DPS
Good to now I was wrong on what prefix is perfect. I said rapid. 😂 I like rapid more anyway. I'll have to test them to see which one is Truly better.
@@vinxsteromega9573 I just feel like the difference in fire rate is so minimal that higher damage would be more efficient. I could be the wrong one here, it's just my opinion on what works.

Run 1470 meant that you did exactly 1.5x the amount of runs on average that you needed which is pretty cool
Maybe if possible you can see if you can "theme" it? Like lets say Bandit Kreig ended, in a celebration of the runs that was had, we can go farm ourselves a Baddaboom, or Slagga
