You are right we do have other foods that have the the word "pudding" at the end of them but if we just say pudding that's the first thing we think of. Also most of these foods are commonly call by different names. Yorkshire puddings would just be called "Yorkshires" or "Yorkies." What you called suet pudding I'm guessing you mean a cobbler style of stew that have dumplings covering the top of it.
