Singers came up singing live in bands touring, now, record companies just find a marketable person and work magic in the studio to spoon feed it to the public. I was a teenager and just so carefree. the relationship just got worse as it progressed along, though. wish i could undo so many things, like meeting him. wish i would have never met him but at at that moment in time, i was giddy with happiness. i would just love to go back to that time when my family was intact and my mom was living, i had many, many friends, and so much family around me. we never really appreciate those things until they're gone. sometimes we can take people for granted, especially if they've always been there.

Then, smack in the middle, Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes sang "I Had The Time Of My Life." We had one of the most memorable evenings ever! Just the thought of it makes me smile.

It would take a great deal of time performing together for it to completely harmonize. We are lucky that they did this. She has one of those crystal clear voices like Linda Ronstadt, Patsy Klein, & Joan Baez who could make & hold a note so perfectly. As far as harmonizing to perfection, The Everly Brothers & Righteous Brothers mastered the sound only after decades of performing together. Jennifer Warnes & Bill Medley are each on there own fabulous vocal musicians.

Just rewatched Dirty Dancing for the umpteenth time since being in quarantine and it’s still just as good as almost 30 years ago. Actually I love it even more considering the movies that’s been out in the past few years.

Just rewatched Dirty Dancing for the umpteenth time since being in quarantine and it’s still just as good as almost 30 years ago. Actually I love it even more considering the movies that’s been out in the past few years.
Jen was such a great, and underrated singer. Its a shame how so many people from my generation and the younger ones have never heard of her. One of the best movie songs ever.
