Before he joined spurs he had only played 2 seasons in professional football, one with Almere in the Dutch second division (topscorer) and one in the Dutch eredivisie (AZ- topscorer of eredivisie) at 20 years old. He is still very young and has proven in the past he knows how to score. Just needs to adapt to English football since the physicality and training intensity is way higher over there.

As a Liverpool supporter I'm not disappointed with the Karius signing. I was disappointed that we didn't spend the money for a top keeper, but for what Karius is (someone at roughly the same level as mignolet to battle him for the keeper postion) he has not been shocking by any means.

Guardiola was an amazing manager for barca. Revolutionized tiki taka. However, I think Messi, Iniesta, and Xavi carried him (similar to what happened to BR with Suarez in Liverpool but to a lower extent.) You can only do so much as a manager. His achievements in Spain have made him big headed and thought that whatever he touched would turn into gold. This cost him greatly when he moved to man city. Don't feel bad for him one bit

Loris Karius has been very good for Liverpool in the cups since being dropped after the Bournemouth game. He can't get in ahead of Mignolet though, who's having his best ever season and is in excellent form. It seems Karius's presence has boosted Mignolet hugely and made Simon a very consistent goalkeeper, making Karius, albeit indirectly, a good signing.

Liverpool should by no means give up on Karius, I don't think they will, because Klopp seems to like hm, but he is still pretty young, especially for a goalkeeper, and he was sensational at Mainz, so I think he will find his form eventually for Liverpool and be an excellent player.
zaza wasnt a permanent signing tho. he was loaned to west ham, and had a clause in his loan contract that west ham must sign the player if he makes over 15 (something like that) appearances.

Embarrassing is not the word to use. Zaza, Bamford and Sissoko were embarrassing, but the rest were just bad, not because of the reputations of the players (Zaza) or their transfer fee (Sissoko), but because the players unexpectedly failed to shine.

Don't think Karius should be so high up the list. Mignolet's been great this season and if we progressed further in the FA Cup he probably would have had his chance to displace him.

To be fair, the signing of Karius has improved Mignolet massively more than anything else. And it's likely that Karius will be Liverpool's future goalkeeper when he finally gets settled. No worries.
Being a swansea fan, without bias, i can honestly say Borja doesn't deserve to be here. He has had no run in the team and those appearances he make off the bench tend with under 10 minutes left on the clock. While on the pitch you can see the potential but he hasnt had more than 2 starts all season.

I'm a Swansea fan and even though Borja has played 16 games the majority of them have been 10 minutes here or there off the bench so I think he's unfairly criticised and if he didn't have a slight injury when he arrived he would've gone straight into the starting eleven and given a run of games and that would've made him adapt to the league. I think if he gets a good pre season in a Swansea shirt then I think he'll be a big part of our season next year!

Fact is, people and Pogba himself say he shouldn't be judged on scoring but because he takes so many shots he's creating that criteria no matter what feeble backing down comes out of his mouth. As a 20-25m midfielder, every pound United paid above that is because he looks cool, that may be somewhat embarrassing.
