all we need is a killer striker and a solid DM. last season we struggled because of not scoring enough goals. Zlatan(United's top scorer) scored 28 goals in all competition and our second top scorer was Mata with 8. We need someone like harry Kane who can come in and score 20+ goals a competition and be consistent . someone like harry Kane not actually harry Kane although he would be a killer signing .

As a United fan here's what I want:
1. Get rid of the deadwood players like young & jones
2. Sign a new RB; Valencia is good but at his age he cannot be asked to play at this intensity week in week out. So someone who learn from him & eventually replace him would be a key strategy to invest in.
3: Give our youth a fair go!
4: Sort out De Gea's contract; either get him to commit or pack his bags and ship him out to Madrid.
5: Sign a proper winger

I think a surprising amount of these things came true. They have beaten all top six teams this season, Rooney moved back to Everton, Lingard is on fire (utilize existing talent), Mourinho is not crying as much as last season and Matic has been brought in to be a destroyer in the midfield, Lukaku as a new number 9 and Alexis Sanchez as a goal-scoring winger and leader.
However, exchanging De Gea for Cristiano Ronaldo must be one of the worst suggestions I have ever heard. Ronaldo got perhaps two good seasons left. De Gea, the world's best keeper if we look at the last few years, has probably eight good seasons left. Ronaldo's goalscoring is relatively easily replacable (especially with Mourinho's counter-attacking style) and it's not like he is dribbling himself down the left wing anymore, so he is now the scorer - not the creator.
David De Gea on the other hand, is almost irreplacable. Oblak might be a replacement, but he is not at De Gea's level (not his all-around quality) and will cost A LOT of money. Lloris is too prone to making mistakes and Courtois is good, but not as good as De Gea, Neuer or Oblak. Ter Stegen is a potential replacement too as he has been improving immensely last two-three seasons, but probably overpriced and still not as good as De Gea.
