I’m J, and I am doubting if I am non-Binary or a boy, so i think it might be a bit of a triangle with purple at the top and blue and green at the bottoms, because i think green stands for non-binaryness and purple for my femininity ^^ and I am Pansexual, but sometimes I feel very asexual, so that’d be in there too :D
I'm a girl. But a 'tomboy.'
I'm asexual / biromantic and my friends are mostly a mix of bisexual and heterosexual.
My spectrum would be a triangle with a tiny bit of blue at the top (because of the tomboy-ness), then a box with blue, purple and pink (for biromantic), then a box with purple, grey, white and black (for asexuality) and finally a box with pink (for my gender). I'm more attracted to females and non-binaries rather than females and men though.

Thank you for putting Disability on a spectrum! I blow people’s minds when they see me in my wheelchair and then again walking. Apparently people who use wheelchairs are supposed to be in them all the time. Nope
I suppose I should clarify that some people who use wheelchairs have no mobility without them and rely solely on them, but those people in no way represent the whole community.

I think it's great that the ace spectrum is a thing that people are aware of, but it doesn't make it any easier for me to define my asexuality, personally. Basically I'm just not sure whether the attraction that I feel on a regular basis is sexual or not, because people describe sexual attraction in different ways, and some of them fit my experience, but most of them don't. So for me it's like, either I'm asexual or I'm not, it depends on your definition. Or maybe I'm partly asexual because the kind of attraction I feel has some sexual elements but not others, but I don't often see that kind of thing on spectrums. Maybe it's time for me to make a new spectrum!
Asexuality itself is actually a spectrum, so there isn't one way to define asexuality. Most people experience asexuality in different ways, like demisexuals who only feel sexually attracted to people they already have an emotional connection with, or gray-aces who do experience sexual attraction but super rarely or just on certain occasions. There are also people who enjoy the idea of sex (and even porn) but are disgusted by the thought of participating in it themselves. Furthermore there are "sex positive" and "sex repulsed" aces. Like I said... HUGE spectrum, there isn't one way to be ace 😁
Ash's made some other videos regarding that topic in the past, which helped me a lot to understand my own sexuality, highly recommend those!
I personally say I'm gray-aro/(gray-)ace to keep it short and simple. I feel a mixture describing it where I'm partly repulsed by both but partly... not. Demi fit as a label too, but it also didn't.
I'm really am a mess at the end of the day hahaha.

It is! Sometimes I wondered if I needed to find the right one to understand. Even in my imaginative world, I shouldn't feel grossed out putting myself into a situation with my picky, perfect, dream type. Something about bumping uglies is disgusting to me but I still feel a bit too interested in it in a personal relationship to say I'm right against the side on the ace spectrum. It's almost like it fluctuates before I go "...Ick." And then again when I'm like "...but it's not terribly bad."
@@nobutthankyou4828 but that's alright! Sexuality and romantic orientations can fluctuate. Whether it's a slow process over time (my case) or if it randomly fluctuates at certain times doesn't make you less valid in who you are! 😊
And it's totally fine to feel grossed out by even the thought of putting yourself in certain situations, even with your perfect dream type. There are people who feel disgusted by just the idea of kissing their significant other or having any kind of physical contact, which doesn't mean they can't crave a romantic relationship as well.
Maybe it does change once you find the perfect partner, maybe it doesn't, don't stress yourself too much about it 😁

It is so annoying for me when the people around me put me down with their "normal" attitudes. I loved your slam poetry about becoming pretty to be socially acceptable and it just related to my heart so much. I've always liked it when my friends said I'm like a "little brother" or "just like a guy" or treat me like a dude. Since the past two years I've been contemplating whether I'm gay or not (I'm bisexual and panromantic lol) I have a new gender dysphoria where I don't feel like a girl but I don't hate being one. (Demigirl and transmasculine) but I also feel I might be non-binary and I just am not ready to come out. (Cuz my country is kind of not catching on with "all types of sexualities and gender" yet so........ it's ILLEGAL for now.)

I’m so glad you mentioned spectrums in relationship to disability, because even among the same disability, things can look very different. For example, I have Spina Bifida. So does Andrea Lausell (I may be spelling it wrong), who is a CZcamsr, check out her channel. Our disability presents itself differently in both of us.She walks and has many symptoms and disabilities you can’t see. I have Spina Bifida and am a paraplegic wheelchair user, I also have symptoms you can’t see. But we both have Spina Bifida.
I have mild/moderate myalgic encephalomyelitis and often the attention is on the severe type and I always feel so alone it that, but the community embraces me and validates my disability.

Hey Ash, I just wanted to say that your channel is helping me through some really horrible dysphoria at the moment. I've watched you for ages, but only recently have I really started to address my feelings around my gender. I've got a lot of figuring out to do, but it's really comforting to see such an endearing person on my screen making me feel less alone. I'm also grey ace & queer so to hear you talk about these things like we're not aliens (unlike most people in my daily life) is honestly something I didn't realise how much I needed. In the past I've listened to the more "loud" people talk about this, and even though I don't disregard what the are saying, this has been by far the best experience I've had while being educated about this subject. *two thumbs up*

The fact that you two mentioned Demisexuality so casually made me so happy? As a Demi Person myself, people usually decide to ignore my sexuality and the fact that you talked about it made me really happy, but I do feel romance, I like dates and just making people feel good, but I don't feel sexual attraction to many people, and it's usually with Guys (I'm a guy as well) I used to just go with "Queer/Gay" but they never really felt nice, but Demisexuality (once I learned about it) it fit me so well, and now it just makes me way happier.

aaaaaa Echo's spectrum is my everything! for now I only identify as ace because I have absolutely no idea of what else I could be (like yeah, I know the possibilities but not if they fit me) and so it'd be great to just animate it as the time passes!
I love your channel, I've only recently discovered it bit your videos are so cool. This one especially helped me a lot because I've just started to discover my own sexuality so it's so amazing to be able to learn more which fit better with how I feel. Before now I had recently started to refer to myself as ace but after watching I feel more comfortable with identifying as maybe a grey or zed sexual. I can't wait to start researching more into them and trying to discover more about who I am.
