They use the same caliber of equipment and talent tbh; makes sense the videogames have that parity and even superiority to that of film in this regard

And “The wolf that seeks always his own kind ” is a direct reference to kratos and Atreus
Not his scars, the Red tattoo on his body that he placed there in memory of his brother Deimos (who had a birth mark that the tattoo takes after).
You know they got the game perfect because when you look at his pic, he means more than just a strong badass. He is even more of a badass now because we know his fight with life his far more challenging than all his boss fights. Beautiful story telling. And this song matches that PERFECTLY.

An amazing amazing, AMAZING game that Santa Monica Studios have put together. 4 years since the last one which was also an amazing game. I can’t stop playing it. @@TheBearWithOrangeFur As someone who also enjoyed Ragnarok far more than Elden Ring, even I know that Elden Ring is far more likely to win GOTY. Ragnarok is a strictly linear story driven experience, and its a masterclass for what it does. But Elden Ring is objectively the better game in a classic sense - it lets you play the game however you want, has numerous ways to engage with the gameplay, is all about exploration and rewards you for doing so, has incredible replayability, is still relevant to discussions and still highly praised this long after launch, and so on and so on. Elden Ring is an obvious choice for GOTY, even if I think Ragnarok was a more impactful story.
