How to Teach a Horse to Lay Down - Day Three - PRINCE'S FIRST LAY DOWN

Today was Prince's first lay down. We gave him a bath before our session which caused him to lay down immediately. Once he laid down, we ended our session because he did exactly what I wanted him to do.

How to you decrease latency? What you did with Vienna at Fort Worth was awesome! Trying to figure out how to incentivize my mare to do that quicker. Do they eventually stop rolling? I have so many questions 😅

But how do you stop them from rolling? Lol mine rolls then gets up and that’s it.

Give him a bath and it works every time LOL. I could never get my horse to lie down I think it was because he was 17 hands and he was too big didn't know how to use his big old legs
