This is a good video.. I have a 14' Z51 stingray w/ manual transmission... this car is truly awesome! So fun to drive. I've never had any issues with this car, I upgraded the exhaust to an AWE axle back (HIGHLY RECOMMEND) and have no complaints. This is by far the best corvette.. although I'm sure the C8 might have something to say about that! I'll wait until the ridiculous mark-ups of those come back to normalcy before I consider getting one... also, I wouldn't by a C7 with out the manual transmission, I mean, it's a sports car!!!!

.As I recall, the 58 ,59, and 60 Corvettes did not have round taillights. I don't particularly care for the taillight design on the C-7 but not because they aren't round.
I do like the interior better than the C-6 and the front styling is stronger to my eye.
Good cars. Trying to decide between the Corvette and the F Type. On looks alone, the Brit entry wins. There is more to a car as we know. Since I ride on the inside, that matters!

I have a 2016 C7 base with the A8 transmission. The shifting is very clunky. Shuddering was resolved with the NHTSA recommended triple transmission fluid flush. I bypassed GM’s worst invention ever (Active Fuel Management) with a Range Technology OBD2 port plugin, which works great. No more V4 eco mode in my fricking V8 Corvette. I also pulled the exhaust fuse #42 so none of the exhaust valves close, ever. Aside from those issues, it’s been great and I love it.

I believe that “real” Corvettes have the engines up front and manual transmissions!
Something you did leave our was the difference in superchargers after 2016. Because the engines on the ZO6 (2015 & 2016) tend to overheat, the 2017 superchargers had upgraded cooling. Regardless of what C8 owners might think, theC7 body style looks very unique as Corvettes should. The C8 body style looks like any other European sports car, just without lambo doors.
I’ve owned various generations of Corvettes beginning when I was 17 years old with a ‘63 Roadster. 50 years later I’m still Livin’ the Dream with my ‘17 ZO6.

Yes I’m extremely happy with my purchase. A C7 with 18k miles is probably around 50k nowadays about double what I paid. Financially a C7 doesn’t make sense when I can get the same thrill and enjoyment out of my 99 C5 FRC. The C5 was a revolutionary design from the C4. Love the interior design especially the analog displays. Just over 4,000 FRC’s were produced in 1999 (much less in Pewter metallic) so mine in pristine condition is definitely a rare model.

For me personally, I always thought of C6 ZO6, 505 hp would be plenty power, and still get mid 20s hwy with a manual transmission. My dad's friend bought a new 2014.? 1LT, and drove it from Arizona to Las Vegas, averaged 26 mpg at 100 mph. Hell, most compact cars can't do this at 70 mph. With 4 or 6 cylinders. My former boss had a Corvette with the 4+3, manual transmission 1985? Or 1986, he got 34 hwy mpg on a 750 mile trip with cruise set for 75 mph. Most compact cars Don't have THAT much room over a Vette.! With the hatchback.

I understand no-one is allowed to order clear taillights unless you are replacing your broken Z06 or ZR1 lights. GM will not send you them to put on a non Z06, ZR1 vette, not even on a GS. How interesting... The PDR card slot for both my 15 and 17 3LZ Z06s was in the RH glove box and the one in the center storage by the USB slot was to play tunes off of. The overheating issue was exclusively an issue with A8 cars and corrected by a larger cooling and supercharger brick in 17. The Z07 package was not even mentioned.
