There will be a tube like structure with camera type structure essentially to send the images inside our body..(like endoscope)
And they will have a steering control to steer the tube to the exact location...the location will be tracked by technologies like imaging, and other tools kind of.
So this tube will be inserted generally via groin..
The name they call it as catheter or so I remember.

The probe is inserted from femoral artery and then abdominal aorta which is pretty much straight and leads straight to the carotid artery. They steer slightly to change direction.
It's difficult to choose that vein and artery to take turn and how much and reach on the exact location 😬

This surgery was done to my dad . But the surgery didn't success so after two days decompressive cranictomy surgery was done 😢😢 he lost his speech and movement.

We will insert a Sheath through the groin (Femoral Artery) under Fluroscopy(X ray) guidance we will advance catheter(hollow tube) up to the carotid Artery( Artery in your Neck). Then will inject contrast media (fluid can see under x ray) this will help us to find where is the block and can advance the catheter in the specific area. Then will try to aspirate (suck) by either a machine or a manual aspiration by syringes.

How can that catheter or thing can go exactly to the target vessel and not in other direction or vessel because circulatory system is very complex .
Its done under X-ray guided fluoroscopy , there will be a live X-ray screen . The doctor doing that angio will watch that screen and proceed . Its not like driving a car / bike it takes time and it's takes about 1-2 hours to do an angio so there is no rush .

Angioplasty / Thrombectomy works under the same principle boss and it's been used hospitals since 1970s .
This is just the beginning. At some point (in 30-70 years?) we will all have nanorobots in our blood streams patrolling to prevent strokes and heart attacks. Time is everything when it comes to ischemia/infarction.

Med student here. It doesnt touch the heart. The journey is as follows, starts on the femoral artery, goes through the external iliac and common iliac artery and then it reaches the abdominal aorta. Goes through thoracic aorta until the aortic arch (right behind the heart, it doesnt touch it). From there it goes through common carotid artery which is in your neck and from then on it goes to the brain. The system is actually genius

@@rheemareignsmusik From what I know, they use simulators and cadavers to train on. Before surgery they take a CT scan of the patients vascular anatomy and convert it to 3D so it is exact to the patient. Then they can study the pathway and pre-plan before they execute. :)
