  • Addressing my weight gain... and what I plan to do next.
So, as you know I did gain weight back. Honestly I feel so stressed about it.
I know how to lose the weight but It's kind of hitting me now that I literally am back where I started, and it's difficult to accept that. BUT I'm also eating more balanced and healthy, and getting more walks in so I'm very happy about that!
Let me know if you recommend seeing a personal trainer, I'd love to hear your stories.

One thing that definitely helped me with motivation and just overall mental health is not checking social media for at least an hour after I wake up. I try to wake up around 7:00. I set my alarm and literally JUMP out of bed as soon as I hear my alarm. Then as soon as I get up I immediately drink some water and then exercise and take my dog on a walk.. Then I make a healthy breakfast, shower if I need to, skincare, sometimes read, and just get my day started. And then social media AFTER all of that. When u wake up, ur brain is set to plan out ur day so if u start with social media it’s setting up ur brain for an unproductive day. So that’s why I try to be as productive as possible in the morning. It’s definitely way easier said than done but it definitely helped me! I love all of ur videos and wish u the best of luck on ur weight loss journey!! But just remember that you are absolutely stunning just the way u are! ❤❤

I love that! Not checking my phone would definitely be a big challenge for me but I’m down for it! 🥰

Weight loss isn’t linear and taking the slow approach has worked for me and I had to fix my relationship w food. Weight loss is hard but it takes consistency and patience. Once I educated myself on the nutrition of food and made small daily habit changes I started seeing results. Wishing you the best sis! Don’t give up 💪🏽

Thanks so much girl! I appreciate it a lot!
It really can be hard. Gaining weight is so easy. My relationship with food is not the best sometimes. I notice I am an emotional eater! I def stress eat.

Hey lady! I am also on a weight loss journey and feel BROKE. I’ve found something that’s been helping me is focusing my money on good nutritional food. Yes exercise is important but nutrition does so much for our bodies and diet is so important with weight loss. (More important than exercise or expensive trainers)

Yes definitely! I feel like when I do exercise consistently it makes me want to focus on my nutrition as well! That’s just me! It works well! 🤗

You are in the same situation I was in a couple of years ago. Walking is exactly what you need to do, keeping your heart rate between 100-120. Walking will burn fat, but you have to cut carbs below 100 grams a day, and then consume more healthy fat than protein. Low carb, high healthy fat, moderate protein. Very little sugar at all. Watch Dr. Ekbergs videos on here, he goes into details about insulin resistance. I was a yoyo dieter, I have very little cravings anymore and am below 200 for the first time in probably 30 years.

That’s awesome! I do try to eat more fat and less carbs, and definitely get my protein in. Walking has been amazing for me in the past and I do go on frequent walks and take extra steps when I can throughout my day!
