Like a year ago or more I saw this clamp being used by someone (and I assume it was you now). And I thought I'd try to find one to buy. But I couldn't find it. Now I know why lol. Thank you for putting this up. Beautiful thought process.

That maybe the most beautiful thing nice ever seen.
I like the design. The really neat feature is those home cast machine knobs. Only change i would make would be to have the base permit the blade holder to be positioned vertical as well.

As I've just finished myself much like yours but don't rotate and might redo the rotation has advanges.
I did like wood inside and need to reach out for thin blades as yours also.
You have ( like others) that wood on top for holding down the blade. I just have a flat bar of steel the matching length of the housing that has a pad for the surface of the blade and partially drill for a place for the bolt to turn down and doesn't let the steel to float away as it's hold the padded steel in location. That mine biggest advantage .
A second advantage of mine is my 4" X 4" base is square and then has a 1/2" downwards bend in front it's perfect as I can in seconds let the downwards bend get gripped into my shop vice. And also if I want to mount on bench helps from it walking around when secluded to bench with a clamp and that's a great feature of mine.

I've seen lots of videos lately as I started mine.
I'm hopeful you can add my bend on base and just the padded steel bar is needed on top and allowing mo opening for other tools I'm sure someone like myself fits in.
