Awesome craftsmanship, What a beautiful design and what a beautiful knife. Thank you for sharing this with me/us!
Black Beard Projects hi, my English is not so good 😊 first I want say tanks for your channel 👍 I learns many things from you ☺️ I have big promise if this posable write in millimeter size of drill bit with you use to hole 🕳 tanks and wish you all best 👌
You are the da Vinci of knife making and a lot of other things. What can't you do? That is incredibly beautiful work!
I really liked how you showed the drawings on the left side of the screen to illustrate how to translate the drawing into reality. That was very helpful.
Dude, I am literally just starting out as a hobby blacksmith, with all the basic, knocked-together, secondhand equipment you would expect, but the videos of a few knife makers have stopped me making some awful mistakes and helped me produce some work that I am truly proud of. You're on that list for teaching me how to not give up on an item and that everything has a chance of restoration. Thanks.
The best spine "file work" video I've ever seen! Well Done! I first watched this video many years ago and still reference it to this day! Thank You!
Requiere un trabajo espectacular, sobre todo paciencia, pero el resultado es magnifico, enhorabuena por ese magnifico trabajo, saludos desde España
I have seen this pattern on so many blades and never knew hot to do it thank you so much great work
Wow. That looks awesome man.
Thank you brother :)
What is amazing, is that you are willing to share your craft like this, and then actually explain your process in a way that most artistically inclined people could grasp and then try themselves. Bravo. I'm gonna try some detail work on a couple of my knives now, thanks to you. If I come up with any ideas through this, I will share.
You are a great artist.
That is a beautiful design-and you have explained it, to perfection! Excellent work, sir!
That’s not a knife that’s a work of art!!
Absolutely incredible, I know this is a strange way to describe a knife but its simply beautiful.
You are a true craftsman in every sense.
Now that was neat! I loved how the handle turned out. Great job sir! Great job.
Beautiful!!! The more I watch the more I want to jump into making knives. I already have a passion for making pens and pen blanks. Now I want to make knives with exquisite handles.
Absolutely stunning work! Additionally, clear and thorough instruction!
That's really smart! Great job!
This video blew me away. Wow!
What incredible craftsmanship
Dude, Your work is so accurate and meticulous it's really inspiring. That knife is a real work of art! Thanks for sharing this.
Magnificent final result. I think the resin in the same color of the liners would look great too.
Yeah for sure :) Thanks!
I thought the same! But it looks nice with the black too. Great work!
Mr. Black Beard,
This video was one of the most helpful videos in my Knifemaking journey! Thank you so very much for sharing this! This has given me the inspiration and belief that I can do beautiful filework as well!
I am absolutely in love with that pattern!
Wow! Great job!
Damn. I can make perfect sense of how you made that pattern after seeing the steps. However, I can't understand how your hands are that steady. I am a tattoo artist, and I can't imagine being that good with a dremil/rotary tool. That is the extraordinary part of the work.
I'm with you. Even marking the original dots was impressive, but when he got out that cutting wheel and cut those lines to perfection I was in awe.
That is definitely a new way to play the game right there, thank you for always sharing your hard work with us,all the best to you and your family my friend
Amazing, genius technique
Great work.
I really like your way of filling the file work in with the epoxy, I've never seen this done before.
I know by now this is an old video but I was going back watching your previous videos after finding your channel. Man that is one of the nicest details to add to a knife.
Great design! Thank you very much for sharing this technique!
This is a superb tutorial, and was the EXACT pattern I had hoped to find. You make it look so easy...which it’s not. Thank you for taking the time to make this vid. It is greatly appreciated.
Yes, he makes it look easy, but it isnt. Considerable skill needed to make it look so good. Thicker steel like 1/4" would make it easier than 1/8" or even 5/32". I tried to do one using 5/32" but it was very difficult and didn't turn out as nice as his....but not bad all considered. I'm going to try another.
Sapevo che l'abbondare di oggetti Italiani come la morsa e il tavolino degli attrezzi non era casuale.
Excellent work my friend, saluti da un compatriota.
I LOVE how you did this!!
sei un artista!!
Loved watching this come together, beautiful work!
Beautiful work! Thank you for sharing this.
You designed a awesome handle with a beautiful & unique design.
Really nice work! You make it look so easy.
That's beautiful man, time consuming but really worth it. Soon you'll have to change your channel name from Black Beard Projects to Black Beard Artisan

That was a fine drilling process, like your final product
One word... beautiful work, thank you.
Wow. Beautifully done. It's amazing that even though the pointing wasn't perfect, the result is still fantastic. Gonna try it out as soon as I can. The patern is sweeeeet. Thanks Mr Beardy dude !
The end product looks so much more complicated than the process. Just stunning with the black shaded epoxy highlighting the voided areas. I’m not sure why you’ve never turned up before in my searches but I’m definitely subbing your channel.
