I recently switched to optimal binds in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2. How much can I improve in 1 week between 2 weeks of the Solo Victory Cash Cup?
Many tips and tricks Fortnite CZcamsrs have covered optimal binds for controller, claw and keyboard and mouse, for both PC and console. Since I never have, I decided to see how much I'd improve using them. Made me feel like an absolute beginner. Martoz and AussieAntics have odd binds that use a thumbstick to move.

Editing
Using the charge shotgun( i am serious, it will help you improve if you keep using it)
you need to work on endgame gamesense, in the 1st endgame of 2nd solo cc u wasted your pizza perk completely and didnt save it for heal off, u still had 600 mats to tarp with. Play scrims for a week please...

Ive done the same thing and still struggle at playing in game. I worked on my mechanics for about 3 months and ive seen a noticable difference, but it doesnt always translate in game. I believe game sense is more important then mechanics, mechs are like sauce on a steak. Adds flavor but aint the meat. Some people are just naturally better then others at it, and i think only in game experience and repetition of strange situations will help improve that. Im still working on this myself so i feel your pain

Well said brother, game sense is what carries your games. Having good positioning and experiencing thousands of different scenarios hones your blade to the finest edge which is why so many pros are so good, because they have been playing for so long that they have been able to account for so many different scenarios. Mechanics will help you in those events, but if you don't have the gamesense, mechanics alone can only help you so much.
It's also not just game sense, its also fighting that makes up for the competitive scene. So you can have game sense but not good fighting.

@@DeletedAccount01425 ive tried that, it does help a little, bit i also have a major problem with higher ping. I lose almost every wall, cant take walls too well because i cant trust my switches of pickaxe to weapon to be consistant, and my weapon switch is noticably slower then other players. Ive tested this extensively so i know its not just me. I feel like ive gone as far as i can go without moving to a place with better ping or better internet.

this video was so fun man, love it! inspired me to change some of my binds, i used to hav e my roof on r, stairs on e and edit on q. switched them round now so roof on q, edit on e, and stairs on r. already feels a lot better

I feel this so much. I can out boxfight just about anyone, but the actual game is so different. Even harder now with the central server for comp 😢

Looks like all that practice is paying off man! You should try an Azeron Cyborg. More ergonomic and comfier to use than a keyboard, better and closer clicks than a keyboard, and it has a joystick for movement instead of 3 fingers always on WASD or whatever it was you switched yours to.

2:20 the reason it’s hard for you to do 90s on keyboard is due to your ramp being bound to G, you can’t run right while you place your ramp, which is essential while doing 90s. You should watch some of itsjerian’s videos on optimal keybinds. Try to keep your build binds on your mouse, pinky, and thumb, that way you can have movement in any direction while building (so that you always have a finger on WASD) The best recommendation I have for you is to put your ramp to V, C, L-Alt, or B because they are most accessible for your thumb and you will have full movement while building. I hope this helps. I’ve learned a lot from you so I thought I could help you with something lol

I used to be extremely inconsistent and have a literal heart attack when I would get into the same box as the enemie all I did was play more arena and boxfights weirdly it helped

simply work on Right-Hand peeks. go to raiders map (the one you played in vid) - and focus on never being seen by the bot when you peek

I still suck and have been practicing for 2 years. Lol😂😢it’s finally crossing over to In game and I won a solo cash cup match (very sloppy) but didn’t qualify. couldn’t play the whole tournament due to internet issues. Ggs!

Raider's maps are the best he seriously needs more recognition- I dunno if he is getting paid by CZcams or Epic or whatever, but I'm hoping that he is making money.
Hey reisshub, why do I do better in duo arena compared to solo. In solo arena I often die off spawn or get very little kills and lose all my fights, in duo arena I always have the most kills usually upwards of 15 and win the match very often
can you do viewing parties on tournemants, you are such a chill person
Mechs gotta be the most important aspect of a person's Fortnite game.. save the crazy exceptions few have at other skills, like Ninja aim or something.

facts man. i've been playing for the best part of two years and can do quad edits, i'm in diamond 3 rank and use optimal bind... but for gods sake i can't manage more than three 90's
