Majority of visayas people understand Spanish and English... remember that Spanish is their mother tongue of most waraynun. ... clearly all attended people feel in their heart and understand what Santo Papa been saying to them.. very touching and he let all Filipino feel his presence. Thank you Santo Papa for visiting our damaged country from calamity. Thank you for the beautiful words and encouragements to get up and move forward in order to survive and live simply and peacefully.

Srsly speaking, I am very disappointed and saddened with what I've been reading on the posts lately on social media,on how other religions question us Catholics with our beliefs.. Yes, Pope Francis isn't a GOD, but he showed to us how to keep holding on beyond this problems and burdens we had in our lives.. He showed us how to be strong and made us feel that there's GOD up above loving us unconditionally.. He showed us the true meaning of simplicity and humility, and he taught us to move forward and give it up to the Lord for He will never leave us.. You may not know what we really feel right now but all we ever wanted was respect.. Religion cannot save you, it's your faith to the Lord and on how you stood up with that faith you had in your heart, mind and soul.. So please let's all be open-minded and be fair to everyone as our God looks towards us equally, without a doubt..
Respect this post, thanks! To God be the Glory.. #LoloKiko #PopeFrancisPH

yes religion cannot save you, because the only way to be save is to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your Saviour. the Lord said " I am the way the truth and the life no one cometh to the Father but by me" John 14:6

I am not one of you; however, you can see on my facebook account my good remarks about Francis (allow me to address him that way, for per Bible we should not call anyone father more than our parents) . A lot of my fellows and Catholics failed to understand and internalized his message. He made a plead that you Catholic should not make him the center but Jesus. As a respect to him I praised him for telling us to make the Lord the center of your celebration and of course of our lives. Pray unto God for everything, thank for everything, hope everything and do things for the glory of YaHWeH the Most Holy Father in heaven and on earth in the name of Jesus the Christ. Viva Paco!

Who would even have the heart to dislike this? If not for the pope's honest, humble and sincere words, the expressions of the people who heard this mass is so heart-wrenching. It's as if they went, not necessarily to attend Mass, but to seek answers for questions they don't understand.

    Praise be Jesus and Mary!
We Filipino as Catholic and as children of God, We believe and we praise God because He is the source of all life and He is the one who free us from our sins.:
We praise/ we believe to Pope Francis because We feel the presence of Jesus in him.
Yes, it's true that He is not God, but through Him we can see, we can feel God Because God sent him to us to spread the Good News to all the people.
He visit our country, not because He want that people will praise him: its not the purpose of his visit. But it's simply because of our dear Filipino who are victims of typhoon Yolanda and for all the poor people not only in our country but also all over the world. God loves the poor and those who believe in Him.
As a Catholic, We respect other religions, so We Hope that they will respect us also.
May God be with you and May He Bless You always! :)
May all who believe in Him be Blessed!:)

FRANCISTIC - The fantastic feeling or effect felt by the Filipinos when Pope Francis visited the Philippines in January of 2015. It is characterized by the feeling of being blessed, renewed, energized and inspired through the Pope’s simplicity and eagerness to reach out…
    Use “francistic” in a sentence:
It was francistic when the Pope celebrated mass in Tacloban City, Philippines.
I felt francistic when the Pope stopped and kissed the sick child.

Jesus didn't obey so we can freely disobey without danger of eternal damnation. He died to clean up sins we already had, not so we can freely add countless more. He died so that we CAN OBEY. So we have a shot.
Religion is the other half of the Cross. Religion is the result of His sacrifice: religion is our obedience.
Love Him always in it. It's impossible to worship Him in actions of Spirit and knowledge of genuine truth without religion.

The Issue of Mine is the Belief he is Mentioning that Jesus is Lord Because Allaah tells us he Was a Messenger of Allaah and Only a that Just like Rest inc Prophet Muhammad.
And From Myself Noah,Abraham,Moses,Jesus & Muhammad Was all Prophets & Messengers Of Allaah (Exalted & Most High)
In Arabic they are Nooh,Ibraheem,Musa,Eesa & Muhammad.

Seriously, does it really matter which religion has the true prophet? Can each religion just stop debating that and focus on the moral support that it has on its followers? The Pope is just here to give support and lift the spirits of his fellow Christians (the majority of Filipinos) after all the natural calamities that had taken place. People, he is just helping people to be happy again.

Religion as a superstition, as an empty movement void of the "internality" of your soul which only goes through the movements without any investment of yourself, your heart, your being, expecting the same results that only obedience in faith and love can bring - superstitious religion of movement treating it as an object of sorts, this cannot save you.
But religion, which is the daily obedience to God in your own life - the one way devoid of sin, the one truth against the lies of all else, leads to the life promised by our Lord Jesus.
Anything done as devotion to Him day in and day out that you do, to stand up with faith and proclaim with your actions and not in words alone, that separates your being entirely from the secular to honor only your God - your part and role in your own free action as demanded by the component of free will which the necessity of was never negated by the Cross, by reasons of:
    1. No matter what Jesus did, we still are beings that have to individually move and live
    2. There are 2 types of movements we can do that shape us: evil and holy
    3. The New Testament letters after the Gospel command us to never act in sin again...
THIS is obedience to the will of God, which is by definition religion. It is the honoring and dedication in your whole life of actions to God. And to continue sinning after the Cross of Christ is to choose not to be saved in our actions by the component of free will choice. Therefore religion comes from the Cross of Christ and therefore by default - He by it directly saves us.
The Cross of Christ is not a singular person one-time action limited only to Him, but an eternally reverberating act within our own individual actions and being.
In this manner, yes. Religion absolutely saves.
Non-superstitious religion with ourselves invested in Christ, whole and entire, mind, body, soul, heart, being.
Religion saves, because it takes it's strict origin in the Most Holy Cross and death of Christ.
You either live in sin or out of sin, and sin is not religion. We need religion to get out of sin and to daily honor and obey our Lord. Jesus is never devoid of religion which is the only way to use our free will to choose Jesus' Cross of Salvation. You can't live a life of "whatever" freely and expect to always end up in Heaven no matter what your life decisions. Religion gives you baptism which is YOUR promise to GOD to renounce a life without religion - to renounce a life of sin without obedience. Religion grants you confession and sacramentalized penance so you can be redeemed out of your choice of sin by God's own independent physical action and confirmational sign of promise to you through His servant. Religion gives you sacraments all born from the Cross itself as wedding garments upon your soul without which you will be cast aside. If only Jesus Crucified Saves, then anything that Saving Action directly produced for us to safely live our lives is all covered as a package deal and are therefore components which cannot be lived without. Religion grants you most importantly, the Bread of Life which you must receive to live at all in Heaven, which you cannot grant to yourself, and without which the soul starves and perishes. Religion is God saving you all your life individually, intimately, and wholely, keeping you out of sin all your life which we cannot do of ourselves, and you responding with love by His Help. Religion is His sacred term of your active "RELATIONSHIP" with Him, without which you are just another person freely sinning and hurting Him and still expecting for Him to recognize these actions as you "choosing" Him. That's abuse.
There is a great divide for each to take a side. Religion only chooses and honors the Most Holy and Divine Spouse of souls to love and cherish. Non-religion is using free will in a map-less life of sheer disobedience. It is not impossible for God to show us what He wants, what is right. To recognize it specifically and avow obedience in the manner He specifies and Directs personally is sheer religion, an organized segregation of security and grouping of holy ones who use their actions to choose Him in obedience. That is the umbrella of the Church, of the Cross without which we all perish.
Do not chase people from religion. To chase from religion is to chase from sinless obedience
....to chase people from salvation, Love, and Life by free will.
Religion - born of and directly from the Cross, demanded all through out the New Testament, invested of your entire being - Religion... is marriage of the soul to its Most Divine Savior concretely and absolutely, in free will.
Yes. Religion saves. Never let anyone lie to you otherwise.
And never ever, EVER let anyone tell you Jesus is not God.

Mary is neither God nor a mother of God because God has no parents. However, Mary is the mother of humanity of Jesus as a man. Jesus Christ is 100% Man and 100% God. Jesus is the Man, Christ is the God.

john brown we never said a certain religion will stop a calamity. What Pope is saying all the calamities that we are experiencing were rxperienced by Christ himself in the cross therefore we must always hope in Christ... always remindibg us that Jesus will never let us down... THINK B4 U COMMENT MY FRIEND.

    Ang Salita ng Diyos
    Matthew 23:8-11
    Matthew 23:8-11
    King James Version (KJV)
8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.
9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
10 Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.
11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.
