Focus your eyes on the Word of God. Not on eyes of the Pope! Read the Bible!

"Religions, faith and beliefs have 98% in common, but we focus to the 2% difference". Pareho pareho lang tayong naniniwala sa gusto nating paniwalaan, but people of thier own faith would want to proove that theirs is greater, thiers is more powerful, thiers is more divine, that theirs is more superb. Iisang Diyos lang naman ang pinapaniwalaan natin, and we're diversified because of practices, and history maybe. And for a protestant (as he claimed to be), saying such things regarding to the faith I believed, for saying that God doesn't like Philippines, and that the Lord has his ways of interfering when he doesn't like of things, then he might be right, because it's what he wants to believe. And saying that Pilipinas ay salat sa biyaya, that's true for some maybe because that's what he see in his own eyes, that's the situation that covered his eyes from the 'real' truth. But what's the truth anyway? We claimed that everything we see is the truth and that's what he felt. But to belittle our faith, we catholics, that is so childish. Isinumpa ang Pilipinas? Huh! Goodness. Nagpapasalamat pa nga ako eh, kasi I'm not born to the country where nothing but war, where nothing but chaos. Kung isinumpa ang Pilipinas, ano pa ang Iraq, at mga ibang bansang nagigyera? Oo, may gyera nga sa Mindanao but it doesn't mean that we stop aiming and praying for peace. And for as long as people with walang delikadesa, walang respeto sa pananampalataya ng iba, mapagmataas at nagmamagaling exists, we will always be divided. As long as their ill attitude exists, I don't think Arguments will stop. May God bless their soul and may they find peace of mind, because I believe that they were never peaceful because they disrespect too much.

This ONLY shows that STORMS expose our “little faith” in JESUS. There is a passage in the Bible, After he calmed this storm, Jesus asked them: “Where is your faith?” In Matthew’s account, he calls them “little faiths” (Matt.8:26). Their reaction during the storm exposed the weakness of their faith in Jesus.
    Matthew 8:26
But He said to them, "Why are you fearful, you of little faith?" Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea. And there was a great calm.

The bible should also not be taken literally at all times. Just a thought. And we are limited by our human nature, thus, sometimes we also has to acknowledge our limitation

If he did not listen to what the pilots said, if in case an accident occurred resulting to HIS (Pope Francis) and other passengers' death, would you still fight to remain in the province? He decided to shorten his visit because he is not the only one boarding the plane! He is with the media, Cardinal of Manila, priests and bishops. If an accident occurred, what would happen to the families of those people? The church would also lose a leader that would cause much more chaos and disappointment compared to just shortening the trip. You have to think too.

Uzza Mirma...all priests are called vicars of christ...but they don't claim to be christ or to posses christ's power. To quote the bible about faith and fly on the storm is a big fool.

where is the love and compassion for these poor people ? Did he leave them cargo of Food and Lumber to feed them and at the very least Build a Storm Safe building for their people , with food ? How is it a Man with such wealth can profess his goodness, and speak of taking care of the poor ,yet leave no token of Actions, with all his wealth, did he do anything about it ? My eyes see .. My ears Hear .. My heart feels .. I am Awake .. Pity the soul whom can see, and does nothing to help his fellow human being ,whom is suffering .. Pity the soul whom sits at the throne of his people and lets them starve and be cold , For love and compassion is the way in which Human Kind should live by example .. This I Do Not see .. though the words may fall from his lips .. the action is meager, Was their no Cargo of Clothing for the little children ? Was their no Cargo on this expensive Plane to Gift these poor people .. Forgive him, and in turn so I shall take my tiny pot of gold and give it to the hungry and the mother and child whom suffers , for all my days as , I have always done and always will , Living by example .. LOVE ALL

We dont know what goes on behind the scenes. Plus, help does not mean only material things. People also need spiritual healing and comfort. How do we know that they are not helping the poor in some ways

yep he did send them a $150,000 for donation plus a new shelter for the poor in his name and the Church's personal charity Caritas International were the first responders after the typhoon has struck the province... so you really cannot accuse the Pope of not doing anything because he has done enough if not better than our politicians here in the Philippines... so instead of criticizing the Pope, you should ask yourself what did I do to help this people?
