    Very good explanation, thanks!
By the way - If anyone is wondering, PHP (Penultimate Hop Popping) is used to save an MPLS table lookup on the egress PE router. This is possible since the egress PE router is the last router in the MPLS backbone and doesn't need to further send the packet down an LSP.

Is there no workaround for this besides configuring a static /32 route?

Hi Guys, I tried the lab for InterAS OptionC, but I am getting 2 labels in stack. Although ping is working fine, why my ASBR (IPv4+Label) didnt add a new label? Any help would be appreciated.

It could be that ping was not working with Option C because MPLS was not enable on the TE interface.
