Agree 100%. I walk around 5 A.M. 7 days a week rain or sunshine. My only addiction and proud of it.

Dr Chan, thanks to your advice, I started walking this year, and became a consistent activity daily. Especially after I found the route nearby my place, the rail corridor. I started with 30 minutes, now I am able to walk 1.5 hours (or >10000 steps), thanks to the endless route that tempted me to explore further and further 😄.

I walk early as well. But only for 30 mins. I think starting tomorrow I will add 15 mins. I always look forward to your help. Thank you

Love the early mornings cause it’s cool. I go to the cemetary and get an hour in. It’s huge.
I need to make it more of a habit.

Thanks for sharing that best time for is the personal time that one can walk consistently everyday. I would like to add that though early morning walk at say 5am to 7am can be refreshing to start the day, for the elderly it is best to wear a wind breaker so as not to get chilled or alternatively choose a warmer time between 7am to 9am. Also walk at least 30mins at one’s own space / speed without getting breathless.

I walk ever day at 3 AM for 90 minutes to 2 hours. I find this time of day allows me to reflect and prepare for my day and becomes my 'grpunding' time as well by invigorating me and then I drink a large glass of water with apple cider vinegar to hydrate

I prefer morning walks as well, the mornings have better AQI levels than the rest of the day where I live.

I walk two times - first thing in AM then early evening. Now in LA, I get the added benefit of being able to practice my taekwondo when I encounter violent criminals on my walks in the afternoon. Many times I will kick the living daylights out of them and leave them in the gutter to suffer some more. As it turns out, this is all very good for my cholesterol, keeps my blood sugar down, relieves stress/cortisol, and helps me sleep better.

Sir Well said. But I have a few doubts, first one can I go for walking after sunset which means 7PM to 8 PM. And second one is if I go that time, what will be consequences for health. Thanks. Seeking your best advise 😊

Read that most heart attacks occur in morning. So walking in mornings may be a risk factor?
