Love how dirt and rocks are flying around in the tech sections. Thanks to #GoPro for giving us the only worthy coverage of the UCI DH this season.🤙🤙
Clearly Warner Bros/Discovery need to iron out the wrinkles 😢
This camera angle, position, I do not know what makes it really good to watch. More of this setting. Great riding damn!
it's mounted directly below the upper visor that can break off, making the lens just shy a few cm off his eyes. Really immerses you since it's essentially 100% POV.
so smooth
good lines... bombing!
Clean!
Yewww!
seems very slippery. good luck for semis and finals
My brotha
Holy crap that looked fast 👌
Gives a good sense of how steep the woods sections are, whenever he's off the brakes, or crests a small flat into the pitch, it's just another level of speed.

Nice run Troy. Aussie Aussie Aussie Oi Oi Oi.
Hey GoPro, why are some riders allowed to wear a cam and others don't? Please get BK on the whitelist!
you are allowed to have gopro on and record your race runs, but you have to sign that they own your video, and BK dont want them to own his videos he said so he wont get his up unfortinate. :(
The video presentation of rider runs (quali, semis, finals) is being gutted by Discovery’s needy and grasping approach.
By making it a “mine, mine, mine!” contract, Discovery/UCI have predictably guaranteed we don’t see most runs at all. Further, they have ensured that the ones we do see are without any context - none at all.
It’s as if every effort has been made to strip the life-blood out of the sport for those unable to attend or compete.
What did Troy think about his run?
What was he thinking and doing in the moments up to the run (btw, they all have different approaches and some chat and some don’t).
Troy will have access after 48 hours to make something creative around this footage if he chooses. But, frankly, many (if not all of us) will have moved on by then making it more about a historical record than an entertainment for all to enjoy.
And it’s really hard to see it as something for the riders to benefit from. Nor their sponsors.
I believe this is ironically bad press for GoPro too. You know, hey look, this is how uniform GoPro footage is. Buy a GoPro to make a clinical record of 3 minutes and 11 seconds of your life…
Troy is here, look for his happy comment 😅
