    If you want a berner be ready for a lot of love, hair, and constant companionship. The shedding is legit when they blow their winter coats, we call it berner glitter because it gets everywhere. Other than that I can't think of anything I don't love about our big girl. 2 years old and 100lbs. She's everyone's friend, just the sweetest, most loving breed.

Bernie is my medical alert AND mobility assistance SD. He's my hero! But even if all he did was lay around drooling and leaving furfetti I would still want several!!! Most loving affectionate intelligent 4 legged friend Ive ever had the pleasure of having in my life. We live in the Deep South so he's indoors only most of the year. During the hottest months, our playtime outside is between 2am-3am, which suits him fine bcuz he comes from a multigeneration line of livestock guardians. • @karenmullen3210
    @karenmullen3210 Před 3 lety +7

    If they poop a lot maybe it's because there's a lot of corn and meat and bone meal in their prepared dog food? Is there? Maybe you need to feed them meet and vegetables and pre and probiotics? They would pretty much only poop once a day because there's not any filler in that to make them go more than once maybe twice.

      These guys have a very warm internal temperature that is their norm and a double coat. The cold is where they thrive best and snow is the dream in the life of a Bernese. No-no to heat, warm temps or long periods in the sun. They must be kept cool like in the a/c and short walks in the summer, morning or evening when it's cooler.

    Hi question, I noticed your Bernese mountain dogs are not as "fluffy" is there a specific breed. My sister has a Bernese and it has enormous fur. Recently I purchased a Bernese but it doesn't look like the big fluffy Bernese. Nor does it look like the greater swiss breed. The dog was expensive but I think it's not a full breed he is skinny has the tricolor pattern but is not furry as I come to know Bernese.
