Excellent job on the restore and saving that TV. I always take ones i find on garbage day and either try to get them to someone who will use them or if they are broken at least get them to an electronics recycler.
With crt tv's never take them to a electronics recycler if they work. they are better than LCD's in many ways and many like them

carlos, este video es puramente mentira, soy tecnico en electronica y es practicamente imposible q lave la plaqueta con agua jajajaj , causa un corto circuito entre componentes q nos te das idea, ahh pero este señor hace magia y el tv funciona como si nada!! todas las restauraciones son mentira!!!

first time i see someone wash electronics, i thought u weren't supposed to do that
When there is no voltage in the circuit you can wash the motherboard. I own a retro arcade and every once and awhile I'll take the crts out and fix them and washing it is always the first step. This video is totally fake though.

My childhood in the 90s was happy with a black and white TV (sirius 208) , which worked with the camera antenna and did not catch more than 5 stations, some of which were only with fleas and without sound, I have been with this TV since 2000, and I went with it to be repaired several times.
All of our tv's are crt's in our house since they are SO good
just fix the vertical hold and we are go, maybe, replacing several of electrolytic may be good idea with and old set, they get leaky

Well, if you don't discharge it first. The 8-bit guy has several video's where he does work on CRT monitors, and he shows how he discharges it. I do think he mentions that if it more so has the bleeder resistor wire (the thing you see the producer of this video plays around with, or likely any CRT), it will be safe in a few days.

Это 2 разных телевизора( может просто внутренности от другого), в начале вилка которая вставляется в розетку тройная ( три контакта ), а когда собрал телевизор вилку в розетку вставляет двойную ( 2 контакта). Как так ?

@@kyoriosno sé descompone, ya que no está conectado a la corriente eléctrica. El agua daña los aparatos eléctricos cuando están conectados ya que provoca cortes y queman los circuitos, pero mientras no haya corriente y cae agua no pasa, solo tiene que secarse bien antes de conectarlo de nuevo

A tv não ficou funcionando perfeitamente. Há linhas de retraço na parte de cima da tela, provavelmente capacitores perto do IC vertical.

Już pierwszy ruch pokazuje że nie wiesz jak włączać coś zepsutego. Otóż włącza się taki tv przez ... żarówkę. Dla bezpieczeństwa. PS- nie wierzę, że ten telewizor od razu ruszył bez żadnej naprawy elektronicznej
Te pomiary były na pałę sfingowane. Sprawdzanie przejść na trafopowielaczu to istna ściema. Efekt końcowy nie estetyczny. Pomijając fakt, że TV jest i tak niesprawny. Linie powrotów świadczą o uszkodzeniach w odchylaniu pionowym albo scalak albo jakiś kondensator. Po co myć kineskop gdy się zostawia całkowicie skorodowaną głowicę.
