The Mojave looks so stable and composed on loose terrain. I really like the looks and versatility of these Arrma trophy trucks. Been wanting a Senton 3s for ages

So far you are the only RC CZcamsr who I have subbed to, simply because you aren't scared to put these trucks through some serious testing. So many videos of guys driving on flat ground and yelling "Whoa!" as if something cool has just happened...boring as hell. It is because of you that I just bought my first truck and I am so psyched to start beating the hell out of it!!!

I would say out of everything I’ve ever driven, this is the best RC car ever for land control. Outcast 4s is the best RC car ever for stunts! 😊

Ya some sort of recent change they applied. Not real sure what the difference is though lol. My outcast 4s has the orange one lol
Center diff might be dry mine was on the Kraton filled it up now it wheelies! Open the gear box I ran 1 pack dirt got into the bearings and ruined them Maybe its controversial I taped up the hole where the gear sticks out mine was sucking in dirt. Always enjoy the way you put the videos together .
Diff didn’t feel dry but I’ll eventually check. Lol. Ya the power module hole is kinda of good and bad. Probably would be best to tape when in use, and remove tape when in storage.

We bought this house a bit over a year ago. Our old house we basically had the sidewalk, small area of our driveway, and my neighbors yard 🤣
A big yard was a prerequisite for a new house. 1/2 acre at a minimum! Lol

Flys really nice and lands good too all thanks to that plush but not too plush suspension. I haven’t seen any bad reviews yet on these. Well at least you got to run on some snow! I like snow for about 2 min and then I’m ready for summer! 😂

Glad you loved the Mojave! The only difference I've seen is that you actually have the V2 Spektrum escs and motor, which are all blacked out and are apparently better than what I have (V1 on mine)

Thanks! When I had the trouble in the extreme cold I was worried it was an esc software issue like they had on the new 6s. Luckily it wasn’t! Not really sure what the difference is between this one and the first esc.

Rumors said the black edition esc's have enhanced electronic design and hardware for improved reliability. Basically just better performance, they said

I have the Losi version of that that's got that ford raptor body and let me tell you what, I couldn't get that thing to not tip over. Pretty awesome, I think you have the better of the two trucks. Not to say that Losi is a bad brand or anything just not a fan of mine. Great video, thanks for sharing. God Bless my friend and have a good one.
The Losi is a "scale" truck and the Mojave is based on a basher body so they handle completely different. The scale truck will tend to handle more realistically and the basher will handle more like an RC truck...if that makes sense?

That center diff and motor mount can be swapped into the 3s line with some light modding. You should put one into your Granite, then do a showdown with the MT10.

You got newer Grey Electronics! Yours is the first Mojave 4S I've seen that came with the updated V2.5 Electrics. That Servo is likely 25T vs the older 23T. Great Video!

@thepatternforms859 when this truck was first released it had an orange highlight on the ESC. So it was orange and black. They changed it to grey and black not long after. Mine is grey so the newer version. I don’t know what the difference really is.
I love my 4s Mojave. It's a beast in every way. The only gripe i have is kinda cosmetic in a way but functional also. I was disappointed it has non threaded plastic shocks. They work fine. Mine haven't collapsed like some and I've beat on it. At least have threaded collars, $499 isn't crazy but not cheap either. Maybe I'm nitpicking. It's a great truck regardless.
Ya I hear ya. If they used threaded plastic bodies, the threads likely wouldn’t last long for heavy use, meaning they would have needed to be metal and of course raise the price. I’ve heard 6s shocks work well, but so far I’m good with what’s on it. Probably something I’ll do one day 😃🤣
You told deerc 9500e can not drift, but it drifts very well in sand and gravel and power slide in outdoor tiles

Hey, I wanted to know how you think the Mojave 6S compares with the Traxxas Unlimited Dessert Racer UDR.
I was able to find it for a price I couldn't refuse.
I am right now looking for if you have a review of it, but I don't think you do.
Nope no review. No traxxas at all actually. Not necessarily by design, even though they’re kind of a bully corporation, it just hasn’t happened.
I’ve heard good things about the way it drives, but the Arrma probably beats it in durability.

We absolutely love our Mojave 6s. Its a ripper! Soft long travel suspension is awesome for uneven terrain. Looks like they did an awesome job with the 4s line so far.
Mojave needs a mesh cover inside or you'll forever be picking grass, rocks and bugs out of the chassis tray. "Mojave is a pig!" - Heavy Metal RC
Yes the suspension was near perfect for our use. I can’t imagine how much gunk would have been in there without the mud guard in there. Mesh is a good idea for sure.

How much run time do you get on a battery?
I can’t really remember. I know or I wasn’t disappointed and I only used a 5000 mah battery, which is relatively low for the size batts this takes. Somewhere between 15-18 minutes I’d say.
Are they now supplying the Mojave with the updated motor and ESC?
I assume so, that’s how this one came. Not even sure of the actual difference to be honest.
I’m new to the RC world. I’m very undecided in which RC I should buy. Arma Mojave 4s or the Losi Baja Rey 2.0?
Don’t have the Losi, but from what I’ve heard, this handles 78 bajillion times better. The Losi maybe is more scale and realistic, but just from what I’ve heard and how much I like this one, I’d say the Mojave.

I believe it does. The only 6s I have is the v5 Kraton and it will take two 3s. That’s how I run it. Comes with the jumper so you can use one 6s batt also.

It's crazy how this thing doesn't wheelie. My fireteam will wheelie itself on to it's lid and it's also got a center diff. (Also long chassis for 6s platform)
Any suggestions on threaded fully adjustable shocks for the 4s Mojave?

My 6s Kraton and 4s outcast will wheelie too so it’s likely got to do with the smaller wheels. My diff didn’t feel dry as there was definitely resistance between front and rear axles. I’m not sure if I’m going to thicken it up or not, I feel it runs perfectly the way it is. Watching in slow mo it looked like it tried to wheelie a couple times in the snow so maybe under the right conditions it will!
I’ve heard the 6s shocks will fit and are a good upgrade but I haven’t checked myself. Thanks!!

Hey man. What do I have to do to make the mojave 4S run on 3S? It boots up but then flashes red and is unresponsive? What am I doing wrong?
Does it run ok on 4s? You shouldn’t have to do anything special. Is the battery definitely good?
@DerbyCityRC I dont have any 4S to try yet. Im using Zeee 3s hardcase lipos ive been using with my bigrock. The manual says flashing red is low voltage cutoff so I feel like its not registering the 3s lipo and thinks its a 4s lipo with low voltage :/ Think the esc is faulty? Any ideas? Ive tried 2 different 3s zees. Both are fully charged and it doesnt work...
Edit: truck is brand new...
Does the truck steer with that battery?
@DerbyCityRC Figured ot out hah. Transmitter just needed to be rebound. Weird that it wasnt bound from the factory but just glad it was an easy fix. Thanks for replying and for your help!

You have the Granite, you should try putting the Mojave 4s center diff into it, ive seen a couple of videos explaining how to do it, but I think you would find a better way. Also the wide kit for the granite would be cool. I've also heard of people extending the granite chassis by using a typhon or big rock chassis
I have plans for the granite, the center diff and widening being some of them. I don think I would make it longer because I like it’s short wheelbase for flips. Hopefully I’ll be able to get to that soon!

You should also check out some mid to cheap drift cars, or maybe some more buggys, that'd be cool. I'd also like to see some upgrades on the Rival MT10, the Kraton, and I really like your videos on the hbx with the center diffs, any videos on them have been awesome so far. Keep up the great work, theses a lot of people out here who appreciate the real-ness you bring to every video. I personally have twins on the way and a six year old whose starting to get interested, id love to see them enjoy the hobby in the same ways your boys have. You're fans have basically watched your family grow, and I think that's a pretty custom piece you bring to your videos most cannot.

The little Hosim x07 we don’t run much. I’ve found there to be quite a few weak spots lol especially the diffs and gears.
The x17 is super fun just has some of the same issues, though not as bad since it has a center diff.
@@DerbyCityRC well that’s a bummer to hear 🤦♂️ I actually picked one up on sale for $120, and got my 2 boys 7,5 years old the HBX 18859. This was all before watching your channel of course. Are there any suggestions that you would recommend for the X07 to maybe help out with those issues?
It’s a fun car for sure. I would just try to be easy on take off and be sure to let off the trigger before landing jumps to keep strain off the differential gears. Otherwise, the diffs are pretty darn cheap so not a huge deal, luckily!
