I had a double inguinal hernia operation using mesh about 5 years ago. The mesh has failed now on both sides. I assumed I was going to need a second operation but found your video on CZcams and have been doing the exercises and all the pain has gone away. Do get occasional pinches but repeating the exercises usually restores me to normal again. Thanks so much for sharing.
That’s great to hear that it’s helping you!
To Wmalfese: Reoccurrence is the apprehension of potential patients. You say that the exercise helps, but what about the longer term? What will you do? What plans do you have? Please keep in touch.
@@eddyvideostar
The longer term is management of the hernia, via the exercises and diet etc.
@@blazer4999 yes but the hernia stays right ? The hole isn't repaired by a diet ? All this method teaches is how to pull the intestine back into the stomach area.
You still have the damage to your stomach or bowel that has allowed the intestine to slip through.
I wish you all the luck in the world if you feel this can improve.
What do you mean when you say that the mesh failed on both sides, I have meshes also and I'd like to hear your full experience....
Glad I found your channel. I’ve had a hernia for a while. Doc said it was “small, nothing to worry about now” but that was a year ago. Now it’s starting to annoy me sometimes and I’ve found these exercises really help. Thanks!

George and everyone. This update is excellent. I was doing this breathing, but quicker, not as deep. Now, in two weeks, I already can feel my lower abs very much tighter, even much more than I was doing lots of abs and v-legs everyday. Excellent job George, thank you.

My Natural Hernia Cure
Things are going pretty good. It’s about a quarter the size it was at it’s worst. The furthest it’ll go is through my inner inguinal ring. Just trying to keep at it and be consistent with the protocol.
How is yours doing?
That would be great if you would. I’d really appreciate your feedback on them.
Nice! That's good progress! Yea, just stick with it man. It's so worth it when you can look down and not see that lump. Mine's pretty much the same as the last update I made. It never pokes out and I don't feel any pressure. I just feel a little tiny bit of something when I'm in a forward sitting position every once in a while. Hard to describe how it feels. It's not pressure, but just something that tells me I have just a little farther to go. The feeling is up high like inside the internal ring. I still wear the Comfort-Truss when I'm working out or surfing etc. though just to be safe.
Thanks. Great advice with the mental approach

Right on dude right on thanks for your contribution man. You explain how to do the exercise better than the doctors. I see you're a surfer as well right on😊
Basic planking while wearing a right side inguinal groin hernia belt completely solved my issue, and it didn't take long. I started off with doing 5 second planks for 5 to 10 sets. Gradually my holds became longer and the sets were from 3 to 10 depending on how I felt. Now I plank whenever I feel like it all through the day. I no longer wear the belt because I no longer have a hernia issue. Give basic planking a try, it could work for you as well.
but you have to bear down while planking and they say that's what causes hernias
@@rmleider I get that point but it didn't create that problem for me and to this very day I have not had signs of a hernia.
@@darrylbrown7073 this is the best technique I’ve heard and have now used. Thank you for sharing your success!
How are you today mate? May I ask how big your hernia was and also how long you had it?
Reverse planks are significantly better.
Regular planks exacerbate what most people have, which is anterior dominance.
Thanks for your help! Just suffered my first inguenal hernia at age 25 from doing too much weight during squats/deadlifts. I thought surgery would be my only option but your videos have made me realize I can heal this on my own if I do proper exercises and wear the truss which I just ordered on your site. Same problem here, but can we live life like this? I can’t imagine my life without training and workout. It’s been 3 weeks since I’m diagnosed and stopped lifting. What type of surgery did you get, inguinal, stomach?
@@eddyvideostar inguinal.
Well so far so good
I do the special exercise here in the video
But I've learned something fundamental
Diet and inflammation foods can seriously affect your hernia further or even make it happen in the long run...
Basically you are removing collagen protein in these places like groin and they get very thin with age.
@@28fabrice Brit: This is the first time I've heard this. I have scoured the gamut of possible causes: whether they be young or old, sedentary or sportsmen, stealth or sly, strong or svelte, shapely swimmers, and stout or slender. This is how the body is. It can happen to people delving into different degrees of body tuning. ------------------------- If anything, this could be due to the fat in places where it doesn't help. Cutting the fat and reducing stress on the more vulnerable parts will do one good. Consume sensible and balanced food sources and supplements.
@@eddyvideostar I understand you perfectly
I happen to have 5 qualifications health and fitness and nutrition
And 40 years experience
I learned this from Dr Eric Berg's videos on CZcams.
Collagen thining is something that happens in later years
It's a chemical reaction due to carbs and fats cooked at high temperature
Believe me I was shocked as well.
Low fat and high glycemic index carbs is completely wrong....
Study Ketogenic and you'll see how inflammation foods can ruin you.
Yes being overweight is undoubtedly a huge problem associated with it.
So far I have been able to carry on with life and doing the exercises shown here.
@@28fabrice: Britney: Please send a link and data of Eric Berg's video that you are referring to. Give a list of the correct foods to eat. Hernias happen; however, this afflicts a very small minority of people in different categories; meaning, that many in the danger zone of "collagen deficiency" do not get it.

So nice to see a recent post. Let us know how it goes!
Thank you! Past 2 weeks my hernia was popping out regularly, like today, then did about 5 of these exercises, even while lying down after 2 small meals, and now my groin is flat. Took about 20 minutes. It will probably pop out again later, but I stood up just now and hernia is gone!! Still feel it sort of wanting to pop out again, but the pressure is much less and the bulge is flattened!!
Pinnacles49 cool. As you build up strength the hernia will pop out less and less, especially if you pay attention to the foods you eat making sure they don’t cause gas and bloating.
My Natural Hernia Cure Thank you so much for this exercise. I’m actually doing it right now, as I just got back from gym- it popped out today after too much meat for lunch, too much coffee breakfast with pastry, and a Diet Coke- that triggered it. So, now I will eat smaller portions of meat and much less caffeine. Anything that causes indigestion will cause swelling. I feel best with high fiber Wasa crackers, fruit, hummus, nuts, vegetarian stir fry, and smaller portions. Also apple cider vinegar with water helps a lot
Pinnacles49 anything that alleviates gas, bloating, and constipation is the way to go. 👍
How’s it going
@@MyNaturalHerniaCureMore meat and less fiber?
This is great. Mine is very severe, my gentials agonise even if do any slightly strenuous activity, ive been to hell and back and my former life is over. Fasting, and this exercise are amongst my best for getting that wall stronger. One thing that shocks me though is the lack of focus on the importance of diet for these hernia problems. Thanks George❤
Yes, diet is super important, but it’s a tough subject because it varies so much from one person to another. What’s right for me might not be right for you. The important thing is to consume foods that limit bloating, intestinal, swelling and excess gas as these have the most immediate effect on internal pressure pushing the hernia out. All of that internal pressure is going to try to find a place to go and it will find the weakest point to protrude which is the inguinal canal.
thank you brother i wish all the best
Same to you!
Hi George, I’ve stumbled upon this video and I’ve not been in a good place with my inguinal hernia, for one reason or another I missed the surgery opportunity but believe in my heart an inguinal can be healed ‘be it over time’ naturally, with specific targeted exercise.
My current situation is pushing the intestine/lump in countless times a day but I notice when resting/sleeping my groin is relaxed and ‘flat’
When lay on my back I’ve noticed raising my left leg and gently moving my body forward I can feel the lower groin muscle above my hernia tighten and it feels like this could get stronger .. occasionally, be it weeks apart, I’ve had an occasional terrible pinch pain which frightens me and makes me eat purer and take a break from specific foods.
I believe eating purer & better will take strain and pressure off my gut/intestines and allow me to try these targeted exercises - in the past I’ve also tried perenium clenching like I heard you mention and plan to do these exercises every other day
Do you think I’m on the right track? Thankyou for your videos as others say it can’t be done, blessings, Richard
Yes, you are definitely on the right track! Reduce internal pressure (gas and bloating) with diet as much as possible, make sure your pelvic posture is correct, work on strengthening the muscles around the inguinal canal, work on hip mobility, and manage your stress (repressed emotions), and try to make sure the hernia is never allowed to poke out. These are the key points to focus on.
Hi sir now i am all right from suffering hernia....Your videos are so much helpful for reduce the hernia . Thankyou very much sir.

I've got the Comfort truss belt and it is very comfortable and well made, my question is, is it a good idea to do jogging, running with inguinal hernia, wearing the belt of course, or it can make things worse? It's kind of opposite of one of the five recommendations of not hit the heals on the ground while walking. Others say in comments that they completed marathons with hernia so I don't know what to do and what not from my previous training. Push-ups I suppose are not a risk or are they? How about squats? Thank you for a great designed belt.
Thanks for this. I really haven't known what to do.

Thanks for sharing this.... can you explain more how this helps with the inguinal hernia.... does it help rebuild the facial wall on the inside of the abdominal wall vs the outside which typical ab exercises would do? I just want to know a bit more in how its helping thanks:)

I firmly believe we have within us the power to self-heal. It's just a question of applying the right approach . Your exercises will certainly strengthen the muscles of the abdomen & that alone has to be a very good thing. Thank you for your advice.

Also is your hernia popping out through a mesh? I've heard some real horror stories about those. 😥
Thanks, I'll do It, I start today. I have an inguinal hernia.
Honestly, this exercise is so intuitive, obvious and simple as to seem possibly too good to be true. But it works. I'm only three days into this exciting adventure and learning experience/test, and yet I can say that this not only helps but is easy to become conscious of and learn to maintain while doing your daily routine. Had to kickstart my bike a couple times (wiring problems) this morning and hacksaw some metal piping today. No pain. No hernia bulge. I am fully prepared for relapses, and whatever the future may hold, but keeping the hernia in while the body gets a chance to mend has to be a smart approach. Waiting for my truss to arrive in the mail for that very reason.
For the record, doctors told me 18 years ago after a sonar scan that I needed my gall bladder removed immediately. The hospital referred me to a clinic where the doctor on the phone assured me that he could get my gall bladder out in "twenty minutes'. I responded that I was sure he could get my arm off just as fast but that I wanted to keep both. I did. Found a homeopath who gave me afew pills to take and now 18 years later not only have I still got my gall bladder, but I eat rare fatty steak, bacon and plenty of eggs for protein when I train. I am now 60 and in the best shape of my life. All I need to do is sort this silly hernia thing out in the next months. If I can't, well, it won't be because I was lazy and didn't try!
Great attitude! You’re miles ahead of most people just because of that. And what you said about being conscious of the muscles from the exercise is exactly what needs to happen. Your training your brain to keep those muscles tight at all times because a hernia happens when those muscles get lax. Keep it up!
