Ganondorf got that MoonEyePlan Playbook from Madara I see lol! But I think it will definitely make the enemies mindless zombies and the boss versions like Generals sort of.
So I compared the release dates of botw and totk
1 blood moon happens every 2 hours with no time paising action.
12 blood moons happen a day.
2261.5 days between game release dates.
12 moons × 2261.5 days = 27,138 blood moons.
And that's not accounting for hour, minute, and second they were officially released.
I have an Idea, don´t know if it is worth a Video: Is "Skyrule" a possible save Haven/Evacuation Destination for the surface Dwellers, and are we therefore going to reverse the Events of Skyward Sword, even for a short period of Time?

I'm not confident it's _just_ Ganondorf. His looks, his clothing, his wounds, his words and behavior...it _screams_ an unholy meld of Ganondorf & Demise.

It would be so sick if every blood moon spawned a Phantom Ganon on horseback that hunts you until the morning unless you’re strong enough to beat him.
Edit - I know they probably won’t do anything like this but it’d be even cooler if when you defeated him, he came back stronger the next time, adapting to your tactics. Like, if you spam arrows he’ll gain the ability to deflect them back at you, and if you parry a lot he’ll start using grab attacks or something and forces you to change tactics every time you face him.
That’s a pretty bad ass idea…especially if for a good portion of the game you actively have to avoid him. I can imagine the terror they could invoke when he’s gaining up on you….think the guardians in skyward sword….chills!

Like how awesome would it be if you dodged his attacks and flurry rushed him to death the first time, next time you try the same thing and he’s able to block all of your flurry attacks in bullet time… everyone would shit their pants! Now that crutch you’ve been using is effectively useless and you have to adapt on the fly.

That is an amazing idea. Imagine you see the blood moon rising. And you see a tiny speck emerging from the moon. Turning bigger and bigger until you realize it's Phantom Ganon riding towards you. That's 100x worse than any Guardian encounter!
I pray that Zelda is alive… even if the green hand prevents Link from saving her, or breaking Demise’s curse (endless cycle of death and rebirth).
Her whole life is depressing and she dreamed of being a scholar like her mother before the Calamity. Plus, hers and Link's relationship feel very special to me more than a simple Princess and Knight dynamic.
I share your opinion. I love her relationship with Link. Yes he’s in charge of her safety, but they are everything to each other. Zelda lost everyone and everything and Link never really had much and he only has Zelda. It is dramatic but so sweet. I hope Nintendo makes good use of their relationship, just like in Skyword Sword.
@@solmartel360 Zelda is very relatable is many ways as well. Mostly due to her complex relationship with her father King Rhoam. He could’ve been more supportive of her since being a father to nurture a child can help Zelda by allowing her to investigate with the guardians. Instead, he coldly pressures and lashes at his own daughter for being a scholar and failing to unlock her sealing powers. How would you feel if your own father disses you and yell straight out your face with the most hurtful words? I think the only one who is the real failure is the along himself.
Worst case scenario if zelda does die, at least it would only be for this game. Every zelda game is totally different and they don’t have to keep her dead in the next one. With that being said I agree I hope she’s alive 😅
My blood moon theory is that the blood moon will last through a majority of the night, and swarms/scouting groups of enemies will appear and start attacking Link, similar to how Typhon's Rage works in Immortals Fenyx Rising. In the trailer, pretty much every time it showed the "boss bokoblins" the sky has been red. Instead of it being a quick event, I think blood moon nights will be stressful and slightly difficult, with obvious ways to avoid it, such as lighting a fire and sitting until morning. Just thought I'd share my theory.

@@aahijustalice8112 That would actually be really cool, but I feel as though the game might allow you to skip the night if you're able. Either way would be unique.
I definitely think it'll be for exclusive enemy variants, such as redeads, who we also never see outside of blood moons.
One idea I have is that the blood moon will happen every now and then, except instead of just reviving enemies, it causes a whole night in which monsters continue to swarm, with only the coming of day or ascending to the sky islands which allow you to be safe from the onslaught.
This must mean that the blood moon enemies will be relatively unavoidable, I think we will lose the ability to teleport at will because the sheikah slate is gone

I personally think the disembodied hand was (willingly or not) "performing" the blood moon ritual, literally using Ganondorf's blood/malice. Maybe a Zonai priest that specializes in time manipulation.
I've been wondering if the new stronger enemies were being spit directly out of the moon or somewhere under it. As far as Zelda doubting Link can beat Ganondorf, it's easy to forget they're a couple of teenagers against what is now functionally an elder god of darkness, beef jerky though he may be
I think the blood moon will make enemies stronger in some I’m not sure what way that would be though. I would love to see Ganondorf in front of a blood moon laughing as you fight him. So I pretty much agree with everything that you said. Could you maybe talk about the puzzle in the sky shown in the new trailer? I am very interested in it and I don’t know why😅

I always thought it would be cool if Ganondorf reached his full power, a blood moon would be similar to 7 days to die where enemies respawn en mass and go berserk. Hopefully that's what we're getting.
Dear sweet Hylia, if the blood moon is an every night occurrence in the new game then I'll never be able to move about at night again. I remember in 2019 when I first saw the blood moon during my first play through of Breath of the Wild. I thought something was wrong with my game and then I looked up and saw a red moon. Definitely scared me the first time around. So much so that I refused to be out and about during the blood moon and I still fast travel to town or city when I see it rising in the sky
I just stand perfectly still furiously trying to remember any enemies ive recently killed the music for it is so unnerving

During my first blood moon, I was like, "OHH CRAP!" Now I'm all like, "tHe bLoOd MoOn rIsEs OnCe aGaIn." I honestly look forward to them so I can go fight lynels again and actually have a tiny bit of a challenge, plus replenish my stash of savage lynel gear
@@frstack3006 they did the build up for blood moons so well. Minutes before you'll hear a single one of the piano notes reversed, maybe a wisp of malice, enough to tell you something's wrong but not enough to tell you what. I love it when horror is done like that.
The Successors Side Quest (Yunobo, Sidon, Teba and Riju) where they fight along side Link against Ganondorf is what we needed! Since Ganondorf is plotting to exterminate everyone after his revival, each tribe must band together if they ever have to assure Hyrule's survival.

I think that the malice reflects ganondorf and his hatred. In botw he wanted to rule Hyrule and hated link and Zelda resulting in malice but a controlled form of malice. Now with his hatred pointed towards Hyrule itself and wanting to destroy it this results in a more raw powerful malice and this makes the blood moon a bit different than what it was. And also that's why malice looks a bit different in totk
The moon stays red in the new game
I had a crazy thought. What if it's a time loop. I wouldn't even consider it but it would hold with the backwards chanting and some other scenes we've seen. Ganondorf has to be defeated before the peak of his power at the blood moon or he takes over the kingdom. But we're stuck in time loop connected to a certain point perhaps by the mysterious arm. It's a long shot but also seems oddly right to me. Though how that would work is something I am certainly curious about. Improving on MM's systems.

I really hope that Ganondorfs final boss theme in Totk will have callbacks to his other appearances throughout the franchise. Hearing that wind waker Ganondorf battle theme or oot Ganon in the middle of the fight would be sick
I think it would be awesome if depending on when you fight. Ganondorf changes his strength. For example he would be weaker with out a blood moon then he is with a blood moon. So if you fight him during a blood moon he will be stronger than if you fight him after the blood moon has passed.
What I think would be cool is if they had all the boss monsters that showed up in Zelda and other hat and had them all as mini-bosses on I think that would be really cool Easter egg
I’ve seen a lot of theories going around since trailer 1 saying that we’ll be going back in time in Totk 10,000 years ago to the time of the ancient mural in Sheikah village to witness or participate in the events seen first hand. But with trailer 3 being out I think it’s something much deeper, like the ouroboros seen on the cover for Tears of the kingdom something cyclical is happening. As we already know because of trailer 1 at some point in the past the rise of Ganondorfs monsters has already happened before, we can see that with the cave drawings of the long horned Bokoblins and with their return in Tears of the kingdom. But in the cave drawings the Moblins are the same as they were in botw unlike their new appearance in Totk have rounder kind of domes rather than horns and of course the rise of new monsters like the “Bosskoblin” and what I think are Kargaroks the flying frog things. This shows that not only is history repeating itself but it’s getting far worse than it was in the past, ever since Ganondorf was sealed underground and calamity Ganon rose to power Hyrules been in a kind of stasis eternally fighting the inevitable return of Ganondorf and his forces. Except this time one snake is getting more ravenous than the other, the eternal stasis that’s trapped Hyrule and Ganon in endless fighting for 10,000 years is going to be broken for good, one snake will finally devour the other. Ganondorf also burned his chances of reincarnation when he turned into Dark Beast Ganon at the end of botw, this is his last ditch effort to destroy Hyrule and he’s stronger than he ever has been before with even stronger forces to command. This really is endgame and I’m hyped to see where this all goes
Interesting how Link could walk across malice in BOTW with minimal damage, but just touching it in TOTK chars his arm and melts the Master sword.
No doubt the new malice will be a barrier to prevent Link from reaching areas too early
we’ll see. the game’s offical description on the eshop mentions twice about choosing your own path and such. i assume that means you can so things out of order still but who knows🤷🏼♀️

you can do (e.g.) 4 quests in any order, but quest 5 has to be done last or something so its covered in malice

I can't wait to see what new tricks Ganondorf brings to the table this time around. The battles in OoT, TP, and WW were all vastly different from one another and extremely engaging in their own ways, so I expect this final farewell to be even bigger.
I believe the bloodmoon will revive fallen foes. But also make them a lot stronger and sturdier. dropping better loot in the process. Seeing as it can be used as a story point, and an game mechanic

Damn. Just realized the full implications. All this time, Ganondorf has been sealed below Hyrule. He's the true source of Malice, obviously, as it slowly leaks out through the seal. Calamity Ganon has been a thing for a while now it sounded like from the lore of the last game. Now it seems Calamity Ganon was just a manifestation that would appear when enough Malice accumulated beneath the surface, spilling out into a powerful phantasmal beast and unleashing Ganon's influence through the Malice. So in a way, Calamity Ganon was just Phantom Ganon, a mere projection. But one that seemed plenty powerful enough to destroy Hyrule easily if Zelda hadn't become a secondary seal holding it back.
All that with Ganondorf under a powerful seal. Now that the seal is broken, it seems he's able to unleash his full power. No wonder Zelda isn't sure Link can handle it this time.
Imagine the blood moon rises every night in the game this time

Yeah that line doesn't really point to Ganondorf but more to Demise. It's probably Demise we are fighting because the malice seems to leave Ganondorf's body and attack Link or the master sword or his arm or whatever. In all scenes after that attack Ganondorf's body is more like a husk with no longer red glowing eyes nor malice leaking from it.
@@mver191. Demise is fully dead by the time the credits of Skyward Sword start; 100% Ganondorf saying that. Besides, if it was Demise talking, he wouldn't know about the Kingdom of Hyrule as, during the time period of Skyward Sword, the kingdom has yet to even be established.
@@dragonbornexpress5650 Demise said he would rise again and again. He reincarned into Ganondorf's body but doesn't need it anymore. Malice in itself has no intelligence, yet the malice coming from Ganondorf's body targets and destroys the Master Sword and then leaves Ganondorf's corpse alltogether. Ganondorf is not leaking malice anymore after the attack on Link.

I think the blood moon would make an amazing second to last dungeon in the game.
Something along the lines of, unless you destroy the blood moon you can never defeat ganon's power. Which leads us to venturing to the moon to destroy it or whatever causes it to spew malice.
Maybe the end of one of the acts of the game we are about to defeat ganon but a blood moon always comes to revive him.

I would love for there to be powerful enemies, dungeons, or side quests that only appear when the blood moon is out.
What I'm hoping from this new Blood Moon is that it lasts longer. In BotW it was just around long enough to respawn monsters, then disappeared at midnight once the respawn was finished. For TotK I hope the Blood Moon sticks around throughout the full night, powering up enemies and sending wave after wave at you for about five minutes (12am to 5am) of constant combat.

There is a scene in which you see one of those boss bokoblins commanding an army of regular bokoblins and from the color of the scene it looks as if that’s happening during a blood moon. This time I think the blood moons will be a whole extended event that occurs for a duration of time(the whole night) instead of just a small cutscene. During this event monsters will not only respawn but will be extra fierce and souped up because of the influence of the blood moon.
Another thought I just had tying with my other comment about the possibility (probability?) of Zelda's death - but is so off-field it needs it's own comment. But first, *a refresher from Skyward Sword:*
_"Extraordinary. You stand as a paragon of your kind, human. You fight like no human or demon I have ever known. Nice curse you have there, Demise. Really _dark._ Sooo...what happens when "Those who share the blood of the goddess" (meaning Hylia, also meaning the Hyrulean Royal Family) _dies out entirely?_ Will the curse, too, be finally broken? Would this extend if the "spirit of the hero" becomes the new King of Hyrule? And if Hylia reincarnates one day within the new Royal Family, with all daughters once again being named after the princess whom Link couldn't save, to create an entirely new "Legend of Zelda"? It would be, after all, no longer _her_ bloodline.
I think/hope that Blood Moons will be a much bigger deal this time around, where all the enemies go berserk, some gameplay elements are locked out, and the Blood Moon won’t end until you complete some objective, like defeat that big hydra dragon on the bridge…

Since it has been speculated that we might have the Goddess Hylia provide some sort of strength to Link is it possible that Demise helps Ganondorf? I know it's a stretch but if they decide to go as far back in the timeline as Skyward sword regarding the characters, it would make some type of sense that Ganondorf gets this much stronger with gaining some type of power from somewhere. Just a fun thought.

My best guess is that majority of the people on Hyrule were wiped out by ganondorf. I do think Zelda will be playable at the very first part of the game and she either dies or gets caught by ganondorf. I'm guessing she may be playable if she survives after hence the shekiah slate. I also think link for decimated to the point the hand sent him to the sky to heal and collect the souls of the people of Hyrule. Eventually killing ganondorf would restore Hyrule but I think link has to collect a certain amount of souls to restore the places that were wiped by the malice. Just my guess
You should make a video about the DLC! It’s on the website, listing that there will be some, and I haven’t seen anyone talk about it. Also, amiibo functionality, as that’s also listed on there.

I'm getting Omega Pirate (from Metroid Prime) vibes. I really hope they take that route for one of the bosses. That fight dead ended me in Hard Mode on both attempts. So it'd probably be a nightmare to contend with, but still a great concept.
Honestly I'm thinking that with Ganondorf's Return the regular Blood moon will be be commonly seen in the sky while near huge sources of Malice to demonstrate the hold he know has on the kingdom, with the Deep Red Blood Moon we see in the Trailer will probably be the Monster Respawn/Empowering Event and appear when near or in the Castle
Remember the Blood Moon events in AoC powered up monsters too.
I think it is likely that the Blood Moon will briefly enhance monsters now.
TBH, I was kinda disappointed that it wasn't doing that in BotW when it happened.

The steaks are really high on this one because this is one of Hyrule's Darkest secret buried that even the royal family nor the former king, impa or zelda knew about, Hyrule's darkest nightmare that has been buried ever since the Ocarina of time Era they not just dealing with a abomination that spreads malice, they dealing with the Legendary King of Evil A abomination with ambition who can now control that malice at will that once ruled Hyrule before with A iron Fist, those who only played the first botw and not the older games don't understand how much is at steaks in tears of the kingdom to us og fans
I do hope we get to see the npc that went nuts over the blood moon from the first game return maybe alittle side quest. I do think instead of just reviving enemies that they be power up duing the moon like from 12 to 5.Part of me hopes that they won't do every night because sometimes I like to explore without bumping into stuff.
For your next Rate Your Theory video, I have one regarding the Tears of the Kingdom trailer and the short scene that has the Lake Hylia Bridge be occupied by a 3 headed dragon.

One Idea i just saw, that the ornaments on the green hand, might match up perfectly with the ones on links damaged hand.
Maybe the Ornaments are exactly the same ones transfered from the green hand, towards link, including the green Energy.

Had a thought, what if the voice we heard isn't ganondorf, but it's actually Demise, because ganondorf has always wanted to rule Hyrule, but Demise always wanted to destroy it, and with the master sword broken he could return, either as himself or he could possess ganondorf's body until his is recreated, that's a cool thought.

I love their approach with Ganondorf so far. Maybe there's more to it, but if he is just consumed with anger and rage it makes sense. I know it's just been theories that he is sealed while in pain but it would just feed into it. His rage bubbling and building for so long that it nearly destroyed Hyrule while he was sealed. Now that he's free? Of course he's focused on getting revenge on the land itself.
What leave me curious is the connection to the Blood Moon. It make sense considering the last game for the Blood Moon to be more powerful. But I wonder why Ganondorf has that connection to it. Is it simply the malice that is powering him up to let him do this? And what role will the Triforce have in all this? Is it with Zelda? Was it sealed with Ganondorf to help remove both elements from the history of Hyrule? Heck, is the Triforce sealed on the moon? Is Ganondorf resonating with the power of the Triforce to make the moon react to his will?
Really do wonder what their plans are with the triforce. It ain't a symbolic thing or anything it's an actual holy object. Only instance of seeing it is zelda's hand in BOTW. Though, she can't have all three pieces cause then she could just wish for the calamity to be over. She wouldn't be able to get all three pieces anyways given there's never any mention of even just one part.
My theory is that the pieces are hidden somewhere underground and/or in the sky. Perhaps that could be the main quest for the game. That, or Ganondorf is chasing them.
I’m really hoping that we all get explore Typho’s Ruins in the light in the Newest Game of TOTK.
But also hoping that Fi comes back to us all.

If we get to travel to the moon, that would be awesome. Ganon vs link on the moon? That would be an awesome nod to majora’s mask.
If you adjust the contrast on the blood moon you can see what looks like Majora's mask at the bottom left.
So I compared the release dates of botw and totk
1 blood moon happens every 2 hours with no time paising action.
12 blood moons happen a day.
2261.5 days between game release dates.
12 moons × 2261.5 days = 27,138 blood moons.
And that's not accounting for hour, minute, and second they were officially released.
I wonder how the Yiga clan is going to fit into this. The yiga clan discovered Ganon didn't care about having human servants in AoC, and I doubt it's different in this timeline.
Can you talk about how Typhlo Ruins isn’t shadowed anymore? I really believe it used to be a sky island or at least has ties to the other islands because obviously it’s Zonai.
I feel that every Ganondorf, whether he spans over multiple games or a reincarnation more commonly, has always failed to realize that the Spirit of the Hero and Spirit of Hylia are able to call on the same source of power and the same level of power from the triforce pieces they all contain.1

Both Tears of the Kingdom and Majora's Mask have the villain using the moon. Just a similarity I noticed.
It seems like the Zelda franchise is slowly starting to become more and more like Skyrim and I fucking love that, hopefully after a few more titles Zelda games will become infinitely more massive with more in depth crafting and armors and side quests. That would be a huge win for the franchise 👌🏻
And if that is the case then I hope that it will also work the same way for all the Bosses and monsters in the game.
Our moon creates waves of water, their moon creates waves of enemies. It makes perfect sense.
Something I’m not hearing much of is that the zelda character you don’t see the head of being the reincarnation of Hylia, also when you hear zelda say “give him your power” being either to the zonai or hylia, maybe zonai connection to hylia and that being the ornation of links arm holding back a corruption that causes his arm to look mummified like Gannon stole part of links life force and the ornation helps prevent the spread.
With the power exhibited by "Gannondorf" and changing goals from conquering to complete destruction how can anyone be sure that Demise isn't the one behind this? And its Demise who brings back Ganondorf and assembles the army to destroy everything
The blood moon will be a permanent night feature strengthening monsters at night but the incentive will be rarer or more plentiful drops
Will the final battle happen on the blood moon?

I think hearing the voice then showing ganon was a red herring. I think there is another evil that is attempting to resurrect ganon. Just like there is another "hero" zelda is asking to help link.
I'm just sooooo curious how Ganondorf comes to life! Bound to happen and Zelda and Link got there just in time? They saw it coming and that's why they were there? They were exploring dark secrets and they accidentally set something off? Baaaahhhhh!
If Zelda dies wouldn't the shrine of resurrection still be around because of the ancient shika guardian legs in that one shot. It seems a bit of their tech is still around but it seems to only be stuff that can operate on their own without the shekia slate like the shrine of resurrection or that one shot that looked like a upgrade station or something.
If the blood moon does make enemies stronger, the rewards for fighting them would presumably be correspondingly greater. I am thinking along the lines that there could be a few bosses where if you defeat the powered-up blood moon version, this somehow helps in your quest, saves the people of Hyrule, or makes Ganondorf weaker. Then the boss would only ever respawn as a slightly weaker non-blood-moon version.
From what we have seen they have perfected the formula introduced by botw i also hope the blood moon is an event we can play in and not just a cut scene

So what it looks like is that when Ganon was defeated in the first game, remnants of his malice possessed the Gerudo corpse of Ganondorf, reviving him

So what if the main plot of the game is to actually destroy the blood moon with some kind of ancient advanced tech that is powered by "tears" or the crystals we see that also power the robots and vehicles?
Ik this is a crazy idea but it would be cool if the final fight starts off at the top of the castle and then suddenly the castle rises and the fight shifts to on the moon.
