I lined up the area using the rocks and landscape to find it is the Toabab grassland in west faron where you find the giant horse (which I suspected already) This is interesting because it shows more molduga than ever seen before and also shows that they have somehow escaped the desert. my question is why are there so many, how did they leave the desert and why? I would love to see a theorist of your caliber look further into this as there is only so much i can find on my own.

I think it might be Purah’s, after all in her diary, did she say that she made her own Slate, which is how she used that Anti-ageing rune. On the front of Zelda’s new Slate, where the eye symbol used to be, we can see a new pattern that has things on it very similar to Purah’s glasses. One huge mystery is: how can the master sword be damaged by malice? It is said to have divine powers to oppose all evil forces of Demise or Ganon. In fact it had more power when fighting against Ganon and his minions than with other monsters.
    I presume the handshake is between green tunic-Link and Zonai-Zelda. We may see a flashback of what happened 10‘000 years ago. In Twilight Princess Link met the Spectre of the Hero of Time who taught him sword techniques. Maybe here it‘s the spirit of Zonai-Link that will be his companion and teacher.

We can see something similar happen in Wind Waker for the Earth and Wind dungeons and to an extent, Thunder Plateau from Botw (not really as in weather blocks the entrance, but more like weather hinders you while you try to solve the puzzle). Top caliber theoris at your service 😎
      As we know, molduga(s) are capable of navigating below grounds, it takes insane strength to push through the masses of sand they do, even more so than certain rock types. Figuring the moldugas are affected by the malice/blood moon/ganondorf as well, in both numbers and strength, what if the moldugas (in that area) are the cause of certain caves being dug out, giving both them passsage to the other side of the desert, damn near or even reaching the Faron region and giving Link underground routes too. (Knowing TLoZ, they probably made sure there’s more inside those mountains then just plain carved out tunnel, either there’s ancient hidden areas or areas used by enemies like bokos (which we see in the trailer in underground area) to set up camp, mine for ore and/ore protect certain elements against link collecting them. Guess we’ll see, but with the moldugas strength and their numbers, them reaching the other side might not be such a crazy thought. 💯👍

    • @javiervasquez625
      @javiervasquez625 Před rokem +2

      Funfact about the "giant horse" you mentioned: it's more than likely Ganondorf's Black Gerudo steed from Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess who like Zelda's white horse was reincarnated around this time for the King of Thieves to ride once more. The fact that he appears around the same area where those 10 Moldugas show up might imply Ganondorf as the one responsible for sending them there in the first place possibly in order to dig out wathever lies buried in that specific location (a dungeon, Ganondorf's Castle, an important Gerudo stronghold, etc.).

    • @lizardlink5130
      @lizardlink5130 Před rokem +1

      @@gregpl9363 thanks! That's an interesting idea but I like the idea that they might have come from somewhere else in the desert. It's not out of the question that molduga can swim (they're pretty well built for it after all) and we know from BOTW that there is a lot of Gerudo desert we cannot access and there are even islands in the distance that we could see, so Ganondorf might have somehow attracted them from elsewhere, and their possible ability to swim could mean they somehow swam around the large mountains of the desert to reach the southern Faron shoreline. I feel your idea is more likely but it'd be interesting too see what Hyrule Gamer thinks. Let's Just hope he spots this!

    • @gregpl9363
      @gregpl9363 Před rokem +2

      Yeah very true, perhaps even a region where they originate from. We know how far the Gerudo desert extends even beyond the invisible borders.and then there’s that location near (I think it was the ishto soh shrine and the nautella wetlands)/next to the mountain where you have to cover the sheikah plateau in the mountain face with a snowball. Next to that there’s practically an opening which puts you from Faron right into the Gerudo desert, so your right that they don’t have to dig underneath or through the mountains, they can just navigate past them on surface level.
      You know what’s crazy? I think TotK is THE product of Nintendo going like “let’s watch content creators and commenters theorize and come up with potential ideas, wishes and alterations for a couple of years and let’s give em (damn near) everything they wanted and more”. That’s what gets me hyped. Because even that flying machine at the end (believe this was admitted too) is a product of us and I think it was Mety who came up with it, creating the minecart flying machine.
      And overall… bruh a horde of moldugas and possibly new ways of fighting them… count me in 🤣
      Stay blessed 💯💪

    My personal theory the gloop being used is coming from Links belt. As the air balloon seems redundant next to the Air copter. That is unless there is an evolution to them. Air balloon has limited controls however would only require one gloop to use so would unlock that technology much earlier. As you Progress thru the story and collect more gloop, 4 in the case of the Air copter plus the components that needs you can start using it instead.
    Same could happen with the car maybe. Start with a simpler 2 wheeler or maybe three wheel variant and work up to larger vehicles.

    So a theory I have had for a long time that no one I have seen has had a similar thought. The hand holding down Ganondorf is the ancient hero (possibly of zonai decent). That could be why there is no record or farther legends of him after the battle with the calamity. Ganondorf is under hyrule castle and the ancient hero never left there. That is who zelda is asking to lend power to link. The ancient hero who defeated the calamity once before and trapped Ganondorf for the last millennia.

    An idea that came to me while watching. In the shot where the floating labyrinth is shown (and a few others), Link’s hair is still tied back, whereas in others it’s loose. Also lining up with Zelda’s doubts about Link being able to stop Ganon, maybe we’ll get a game in two acts. Act I where Link “loses” to Ganon (scripted “death”), and Act II in the sky where Link is revived and learns the heritage and skills of the hero of legend from 10,000 ya. This makes some extra sense to me because my guess is the hero of legend was Zonai, as are the islands. Additionally, the hero in the tapestry has long hair, a glowing hand, a green arm, and a green chest like Link’s sky outfit.

    Personally, I'm still divided on my feelings regarding the vehicle crafting. Zelda doesn't have to be all fantasy, all the time, and I did like the Master Cycle Zero, but these strange Lego creations...I just don't know. It might be fun to see Robbie and Purrah play a part in manufacturing these things; sort of keeping their research going, if you will, but how much access to these devices will we have? Where will they be able to go? Will we store them someplace, when they are not in use? Have to go back there to getbm one? Have garages dotting the map, like stables? Personally, I liked the horses, in BotW, and while I did see Link riding one, in the trailer, I'm wondering how valuable they will even be when Link builds a UHaul, a riding drone, or a hot air balloon? With those last two, even some of his newer traversal powers might seem superfluous. Maybe I just want my Epona back. I know a lot of people didn't like the pay wall that was Amiibo, and most of those have now only gotten older, and maybe harder to find, but I want my Epona back, and maybe some of my outfits, or gear. I just don't know if we'll need to ride Epona, or some other horse you can get without Amiibo, if Link can build a jeep.
    As for the glowing figure, I personally hope it isn't Hylia. It could be neat, and even with Zelda walking about, something was functioning behind the Goddess Statues, to take your Spirit Orbs, but I'm personally tired of people hoping for some truly massive shift up, where this game could end the tale of Ganon, and his curse, or finally end the bloodline of the Royal Family, with Zelda somehow experiencing apotheosis, and becoming the deity again. I've been playing Zelda since the 80s; it's my favorite series, and I'm personally nor interested on it stopping, or totally embracing some completely different structure. I WANT Link, Zelda, Ganon, and the Triforce to remain integral parts, and keep telling stories using them. Maybe I'm just being a whiny nostalgic, not wanting things to change.

    Gonna post it again in case you missed it. Someone else pointed out that non-English languages (specifically German was mentioned) use the their plural form of you in Zelda’s statement, meaning if it wasn’t mistranslated, Zelda is asking a group of people to lend Link their strength, not a singular individual.
    If this is the loop and Link is both the first and last Link in the timeline, Zelda/Hylia could be speaking to all the Hylians (given they were the only ones to ascend to the sky). At the same time, she could be speaking to the Zonai as a race or the Triforce or the three golden goddesses. Of these three, I think the Zonai are the most intriguing and I’d love for her to be saying this line as she falls. Link jumps after her, she asks the Zonai to lend him their strength, and the hand grabs him.

    Ganondorf does, however, and wishes for intense power or something like that. The triforce grants his wish, which allows ganondorf to infect and corrupt the arm that has links piece of the triforce, destroy the master sword, and kill Zelda

    Is not the storm over Hebra region engulfing some floating islands? You can actually see those islands in the shot where Link is standing near the edge of another floating island over death mountain or the eldin region (the same shot where you can see the north lomei laberynth rised in the sky).
    I personally don’t think it is Ganondorf’s evil doings but more like a test for the heroe to clear it up in orden to access those islands and the secrets/power/weapons in them, like the shrines in BOTW but in a larger scale. Maybe we “unlock” the floating islands of each region after finishing the potential dungeons of the game or maybe we have to clear them like the pre-dungeon puzzles you have to solve in classic Zelda games to gain access to the dungeons themselves.
    Anyway it is a really cool new feature of TOTK and I can’t wait to discover what or who is responsible of that storm!

  • @shabado0
    @shabado0 Před rokem

    The storm above Hebra is mostly likely just going to be a feature to gate off certain sky islands until you satisfy a certain condition. At other points in the trailer and in some of the new higher resolution screenshots for the game you can see an extensive network of sky islands high above Hebra, no storm. Also the short clip with Link flying the constructed drone vehicle appears to be directly above Hebra.
    The fact that it’s featured on the cover art could imply some greater significance, and it will probably cause very oppressive weather patterns, but I think they just featured it in the art because it’ll be such a distinctive orienting feature for a certain length of the game.

I think link has to go back in time to collect zonai runes and machinery and really learn who they are after obtaining his new arm so he can finally defeat ganon once and for all. I believe the "mysterious figure" sends him back millions of years in the past, that's why they're shaking hands, when they shake hands he obtains the ability to time travel back and forth, that would also explain why the deku tree and everything isnt shown and why all the new enemies are around, also would explain why that one island that was covered in darkness is no longer covered. That would also kinda explain why in botw the little girl npc at one of the stables who gives you a side quest, says something along the lines of. Good kids can see it, the "floating kingdom in the sky" maybe the remnants from the past are only seen by a select few people now? Or like she says only the "good kids can see it" whatever that means lol.. idk it could be a reach, but it would also explain some of the different lighting in the trailer too 🤔 dark spooky = ganon times and light sparkly = zonai times..

      2) Playable *flashback* involving the PAST LINK from 10.000 years ago who first sealed Calamity Ganon as shown on Impa's tapestry.
      As for the changes in the kingdom's geography it could just as easily be a simple timeskip between the pre Ganondorf Hyrule and post Ganondorf Hyrule as the land heavily changes due to all the seismic movement Ganondorf's Malice has been causing below the surface.
