Irving Berlin's great "Astaire" song from the 1938 RKO Pictures movie "Carefree". Tracey Stewart-Fry joins The Piccadilly Dance Orchestra's band leader Michael Law (at the piano) on the vocal.
Super. Mentioned on another video of the Victor Sylvester like sound. Back in the late seventies our little band was the other room entertainment to VS at the Manchester Grammar School summer ball. By that time Victor Sylvester Jnr was fully running the orchestra along of course with Oscar Grasso. Happy days. Can't recall though if it actually was before or after the death of Victor in 1978.
One of the loveliest songs in the world! Vic Damone had a wondrous version of this also.
