Mercedes jumps out and causes close call

- Doing a little night ride then a white Mercedes cuts out infront of me. I side swiped him trying to avoid him. we both pulled over and talked it out no one hurt. shot on a Hero 7 so it looks further away than it actually was.

that´s the most believable and honest apology i have ever seen. this man driving the mercedes is a really nice person. no raod rage, no swearing, no fights... he simply wants everbody to live no matter what.
or... mercedes tried to rip off after the accident. only decided to be overly friendly when the bike chased him down. Biker got played like a fuckin fiddle. just a possibility, but i think one realistic enough to investigate :)

This is how to deal with a situation. We all makes mistakes. And this is how you deal with it. Luckily you weren't hurt. But as a new rider, you need to be careful. Keep an eye, always expect the worst. People pull infront of me all the time. Atleast 3 times a week. This is sadly how it is.

Cool that everything ended well. The mercedes driver totally screwed up. But you could have slowed down my dude, the car was clearly about to enter the main road and didn't show signs of slowing down, you could have slowed down and mitigated the situation, the swerve you did was OK but you were lucky the guy didn't continue to turn left otherwise it would have ended badly for you. Remember its your life and you should always take the first measure, never trust car drivers, even if you are legally in the right, you see danger you act immediately, when it comes to cars vs bike, cars ALWAYS win, first rule of riding: STAY SAFE, meaning safety first. Next time when you see an unusual situation prepare to act, hands off the throttle and hands wrapped around the brakes. I recommend you watch videos from DanDanTheFireMan. He has lots of videos on motorcycle safety, you can learn from him.

Wasnt on purpose and idc about views I don't mind sending some content to the few youtubers I like to watch but tbh man when he approached me the way he did I felt bad for cursing at him the way I did. Yes it looks like I had plenty of time to get over or brake but it wa shot on go pro with wide view (looks further than it actually was) that day was like 3 weeks ago and I don't remember if I was just tired and had slow reaction times or if I was distracted by something. Either or no one was hurt we were both mature and apologized to each other. Safe rides man have a good night.

I’ve learned it’s easier to assume most people are mostly good. I’ve had too many experiences where I’ve assumed people were doing me wrong and went off on them and found out I was wrong. It’s caused me a lot of regret and a lot of unnecessary pain to other people. I try not to automatically assume ill intend in other people’s actions and words. I try and give people the benefit of a doubt until I see a pattern of selfish motivation in their actions. Am I being played sometimes? Yes. But in my opinion that is on them, not on me. That doesn’t diminish me in the slightest unless I allow it to. Either way I’d rather give people the benefit of a doubt than assume someones out to get me when they’re not and cause pain to them and regret and bad karma to myself.
@@davidwoodfill4814 I respect your opinion. I personally dont believe in karma. I live my life and make decisions based off of what I believe to be right or wrong. I have made plenty of mistakes in my personal life so I also try to assume the best in people. But this dudes actions don't line up with the attitude he displayed once outside the car. This is all speculation, but I do believe the mercedes driver was not acting in good faith. Whoever is reading this.... have a good day!!
