Madden has literally been the same the game for like 8 years, with an updated roster.
The program discipline feature of this game is remarkable. A few years into a dynasty and going to a school who’s on probation with scholarship reductions? Now that’s a challenge. Such a great game.
Can you upgrade a stadium in the dynasty mode? For example if you have a small school like rutgers and you want to be able to make more crowd noise ? Like ive noticed the small school youbcantvreally make much crowd noise i was wondering if therevwas a way to do that with a school thats notvas big as a michigan or ohio state
But when you get better over the years in dynasty is that how you turn into a “toughest place to play” and I tell ya it’s a challenge to win more than 8 games a season on heisman on normal setting in this game
@@HandysoccerscHonestly higher difficulties back on the PS2 and 3, you could feel the differences between each difficulty compared to regular and Heisman. Newer Madden’s I swear I guess I got too good but all madden doesn’t feel as hard as back in the day.
This is crazy because I have NCAA 11 for 360... It's like night and day from the version on PS2 😩😫🤦🏾♂️ so many great features lost

I wonder why do EA take away this stuff and not try to improve on the stuff they had in their older sports games.
In their defense, going to a new generation means completely building a new game. But also, they did take out a ton of features. If it was only a couple, I would understand, but it does seem like they took out so many features they could have carried over

@@TnJonCZcams Would have to agree! Love the game play and depth in dynasty. I have done a dynasty with FAU, Washington, North Dakota St. (Custom team), Vanderbilt, and now North Carolina. I used to make "legends" but stopped. I never got them until one season at Vandy I got all 5 I made. Still a blast and loving my North Carolina dynasty. In year 4. 3 ACC titles, 2 orange bowls, and one Natty. Look forward to your NCAA 11 dynasty!

@@TnJonCZcams absolutely. Love the ps2/Xbox NCAA games. Gameplay and depth inside of dynasty is way better than any new Madden game. Have fun with it and I'll be watching!

This is actually my favorite football game. I liked the fact that you could do drills to expand your stats with certain players in dynasty mode. I ended up getting an Xbox 360 and I currently have a ps3 and I manage to get the game but that feature wasn't in those versions.
They took them out once they went to next gen systems. 2011 for ps2 was the last great one! you should try 2006...just all the little HEISMAN features are amazing!
Fun Fact: NCAA 11 on PS2 was exactly what some people accused EA of doing with its games. They literally changed 10 to 11, removed online, updated the Rosters, and did some logo/uniform updates based on real-life changes. It's why the person that did the Rosters (me) was listed first in the credits.

@@mikexxxmilly Typically you would be right. But, NCAA 11 only had a few people working on it directly. The most effort was actually in removing online. It was more than just removing the option from the UI (which would have made it a 5 minute change). Sony required us to remove all the online libraries from the disc, which is trickier than you would think.
Where can i get a full roster download man? Cant seem to find any good ones with fbs and fcs…
@@userjim83 I'm not sure where you would be able to get the roster files with FBS and FCS. I will tell you that they did not update the FCS rosters. Those stayed unchanged for years. Fun Note: there is also a CB on one of the FCS rosters (I forget which team) that weighs 395 lbs. He's been there for probably years.

Have a NCAA 07 to 14 for Xbox 360. Was running dynasty on NCAA 10 but jumped to 14 just to try it, just completed year 12 lol. There’s so much missing but they’ve also given so much. I added some of the actual coaches into my Dynasty. This game is definitely a blast. They need to look at elements from NCAA 14 and 11 on PS2 and combine them to make their next Gen games
The gameplay is gonna be madden so we know how "good" the game is gonna be
Do you ever feel that this game was NCAA peak performance? NCAA games went down hill once they went on the NEXT GEN system of xbox360 and ps3. No summer drills...none of the little extra stuff.
If they could make this game with 2006 music and clips.....and add 2014 conference realignment...and then the playoffs....game would be perfect.
Conference invites are the best feature for the dynasty mode on this game. I've gotten UCF and West Virginia invited to the SEC in each of my first two years of my dynasty. 😁

I haven't played a football game in years. I always preferred college games over NFL. I used to play Gamebreaker series 20 years back. I want something newer and it just occurred to me that NCAA 11 was a thing. Downloading now and can't wait to get started. Thanks for sharing, this looks great and will hold me over until RPCS3 gets the PS3 NCAA 14 running smoother. I have it running but not great. According to their site I should be able to run it well but it doesn't'. Don't know if it just needs tweaking but it is a young emulator and some games just don't run well while others are perfect for me.

All sports games were better than they are today. Fifa, Madden, NBA, NHL, MLB, even Fight night was much more fun than modern UFC games. So much depth.
Just got my copy today… going to set up my dynasty later… this video def convinced me to get a copy… $25!!! Not cheap at all for an old school PS2 sports game… so I know it must be worth it

I may have to get this version of the game, I have it on PS3. I probably would have had this one had my PS2 not crapped out when the 360 was out.
I only got this game for like 4$ at goodwill one day when I was like 10 it was so cool and crazy to see the price go up so much
Don't forget the reduction in available scholarships. I had that happen as well as exclusion from bowl games. I was giving my players a slap on the wrist as far discipline goes.

I'm play mines now using the NCAA Dynasty Mode and NFL Franchise Mode being Coach Prime at CU and JSU (I port his draft class to the NFL ) and it's NEVER gets old 😆 it's hard for me to play modern Madden if I can't do want I'm doing now. FYI I'm using the PS2 emulator

Really sad when you think how great NCAA 14 could've been if EA made it as in-depth as this.
Adding FCS teams would have also been nice. Could you imagine playing with all 130 current FBS teams AND all 132 FCS teams, plus defunct teams, defunct teams from defunct schools, and all new teams from schools that have never had a team?
The only things I would have wanted to carry over is fcs and create a team. NCAA 14 was almost perfect.
Yeah I love this game I'm rocking with Georgia Tech right now in Dynasty playing on All American bout to upgrade to Heisman .. I'll win 19 NC's to but it'll be a journey note Tech has 4 overall already so I gotta catch up with Bama and Yale. I like to make recruits even if I can't recruit its fun to have clones of existing Pro players makes the game more challenging .

skip 11 on ps3 and get 12 for ncaa and madden both excellent games and some of my favoite to play especially with updated rosters and the ability to edit players

I actually just ordered NCAA Football 11 and Madden 2011 for the Ps2 and also ordered a ps2 slim lol. I love that NCAA Football 2011 for the Ps2 and I just wanted Madden 2011 just so I can export the draft classes from NCAA to Madden lol
Yeah that’s one of the best features, plus being able to scout players and play in the college all star game are awesome, the whole ps2 offseason was one of the best parts of those maddens

Just got a ps2 and am looking for a ncaa and madden combo to start playing. Which ones were the best on ps2? I’ve been leaning towards 08 but is there anything different in the newer ones?
07 Madden was the peak for Madden so maybe try that one?
I created Chicago university in this game because Chicago U was at one time a member of the big ten back in the early days. I picked juggernaut and man that team couldn’t be touched. I loved this game man can’t wait for this series

@@TnJonCZcams , I made one that was awesome for NCAA Football 08 that was called The Bass Reeves University Marshals. (If you think that is a funny name for a school, then please go look up who Bass Reeves is and you will be pleasantly surprised to see perhaps one of the most legendary figures of the Wild West, as well as in American history. His story is awesome, by the way.)

@TnJ Awesome stuff brah. I’m stuck between 09 or 11 and from what I’ve read online, the recruiting is way better in 09. Is that close to your experience? Or which one would you consider the best overall ps2 version? Thanks again! #geauxwhitetails
09 is solid, I've read from others that recruiting is better in 09
If those are you two options definitely go with 09 for sure. The game is a lot better if your playing the game for dynasty mode..
The recruiting isn’t better in 09 then 11 they have the same recruiting system, but the distribution of recruits were a lot better. In NCAA 11, there are way more 5 star QBs and WRs and no 5 star OL and DL. The distribution of 5 star recruits isn’t correct.
Tbh I think the best overall NCAA game on the PS2 is NCAA 06. That game was really good! (04 and 05) were solid too...
If I had to say, my list would be, (06,09,04,05,07,08,10/11 )from best to worst
@@KCClassic7 agree, love 06 but the playbooks are very limited compared to 09. The recruiting in 10 & 11 is unfortunate. Basically by year 4 or 5 you end up with a sleuth of 99 overall QB'S and WR'S and no lineman. Barely even any 4 star lineman. I've been playing 09 and I'm having a blast. Found some challenging sliders on operationsports.

I like 09 because it has the added features from 08 and it balanced out the gameplay from 07. Any player on the field could become an impact player as well, i like that too

How did you get the player names on the rosters? instead of just numbers
I think that there is a mode (at least on NCAA Football 08, anyway) where you can allow the computer to randomly assign real names to characters and/or you can do it manually with either a created player or the players that are in the game.
Are their 2020 rosters available and where can I find some good sliders besides Arby's?
Idk if they have a roster available, some people do updated rosters but idk the existent of them and for what games they do it for. All this information can be found on OperationSports.com
As far as the sliders try the default ones first and make your own adjustments only if you NEED to. I mostly always use default sliders when I play sports games, and adjust when I need to
@@KCClassic7 , I tend to not like OperationSports, as they do not take into consideration that a. there are people that literally do not have an internet connection for a PS2 or OG Xbox and b. there is a lack of an option to just manually type in the information for the teams in the game, like, instead of downloading a file with the information, there is also the option to just type in the players and statistics for each team.
Pax Humana Yeah, I’m not a huge supporter of OS either for other reasons, but I think that it’s the easily way to fine most of the answer we are looking for and read good conversation about the questions we have, for the most part they are usually on there

I remember this vividly and I’m 26. First Ncaa game I had was Ncaa football 2004. I stayed up all night playing it even though I had school the next day. I didn’t care lol

2006 is 10x better the recruiting issue with 2011 is they create more wrs than offensive lineman. You’ll have like 6 qbs and 12 wrs smh

No, it’s no difference between 2010 and 2011. TBH I would go with NCAA 06 preferably, or NCAA 09 those to me are the best playing PS2 NCAAs (04 and 05 are pretty good too)

Pax Humana Nah, I didn’t. 07 will always have a special place in my heart. It’s personally one of my favorites. But them forcing the return cam on us, and the “aggressiveness” with the momentum meter. To some, make the game unbearable. Both “issues” were addressed in 08/09
If 07 didn’t add those features or they made them toggle option, I honestly think it would be regarded as the GOAT
Yeah 08 was horrible unfortunately, I really wanted to like that game too. They added A BUNCH of stuff to the game, considering it was a last gen game. The pursuit angles in that game absolutely ruined it. I didn’t notice it until someone mentioned it to me, but it makes the game almost unplayable.
