That extra step you do with the tortilla makes this pizza so much better than other recipes. This is a great alternative to pizza crust that is high in carbohydrates. Thanks for sharing!
I made 2 tonight, first time. And my brother said it was maybe the best homemade pizza he'd ever had - and he makes them often. He said it was the perfect crust. Don't think we'll be buying pizza crusts often, or maybe ever?? 😊 THANK YOU!!
I just made these last night for me and my two kids. With out the pepperoni since i didn't have any but just mozzarella and they were pretty good. Thank you for sharing
I am making my 2nd one of the day right now. The wife had me pick up takeout and I chose to make another pizza for myself instead. This is an amazing low cost and calorie meal!
Very rare I find somebody that does something exactly the way I do. I normally want to be a know-it-all and tell you what you're doing wrong but that was perfect. When you browned the tortilla first I said to myself here is a very intelligent person.
Made this tonight. Had extra Marinara sauce that I wanted to use up. Workrd great. Pepperoni, mushrooms and spinach topping on top of mozzarella cheese. Gonna try parmesan next time. Also 400 degrees was too high. 375 degrees because my oven might be hotter. Thanks for the recipe.
I love this. Thought I found that if you put the oven at 375 instead of 400 and to do the same steps. Except after you take to tortilla out after the "pre bake" for 5 minutes flip it over then do everything else. When I tried this with my second trial it tasted so much better.
This is comical, just outta curiosity. I typed this very recipe. Poof. This excellent tutorial popped up. I'm gonna make this during halftime. Thank you... kudos. I subscribed.
These are great, if it is good for the great Jacques Pepin, it is good enough for me. Used some fresh tomatoes and sauteed mushrooms also with the pepperoni, it was great!
I like to place the tortilla directly on the rack(no pan or oil) while the oven is preheating. By the time the oven reaches 400, the tortilla is crisp and light, ideal for holding the ingredients.
Good video, thanks for sharing! I've been doing this for years but I have a different take; One tortilla is just too thin for my likes. So I crisp up one (actually char it a little on the burner) then add just a little cheese. Then do another and stack them together. Then make your pizza and there ya go! No, it's still not the same as pizza dough but with two tortillas it gives it a little more structural integrity. Give it a shot!
I make these on my 5" griddle on my alcohol stove. I toast both sides of the tortilla then build my pizza 🍕 toppings and sauces. You can use Alfredo, 4 Cheese, Pizza or Garlic sauce for your base, then your toppings. I cover the topped tortilla with a small square baking tin to create a makeshift pizza oven so the cheese melts. They're the bomb! Very versatile. I call mine Italian Quesodillas. Lol 😂
i make these all the time for my kids, they love thin crust and what's thinner than a tortilla? I don't prebake the tortilla, just put it with all toppings directly on a toaster oven rack. also works amazing for quesadillas.
Also good as an alternative to a normal pizza if you're looking for low calorie alternatives to your favourite foods. Use a low fat cheese, maybe put chicken as a topping and this is actually pretty good for macros.
Exactly my thoughts. Pizza is the reason I got fat, been doing really well for the last 3 months and wanted to treat myself to a pizza but the calories are just way too high for me at the minute. Had a brainwave at work today and thought this must have been done before.. Friday night "cheat" meal here we come!
if you stab the flour tortilla a billion times with a few forks in each hand you can fry it in butter on the stove top, stabbing it keeps it from bubbling up & burning, if you don't it will burn where it bubbles, but you can perforate more than one flour tortilla at a time. This is my jump off point where I make a few things like chicken quesadilla or the best bacon smash burger quesadilla.
My recipe: Tortilla, tomato sauce, cheese, pepporoni, microwave on high for 25 seconds to melt the cheese, put in air fryer for 4 minutes at 400 degrees
I am currently faded, and I feel like it would be even better with a quesadilla crust. Two tortillas with mozzarella cheese in between and pizza toppings on top…
I tried it.....and I'm hooked. Nothing like small personal pizzas whenever you want.
As a diabetic, you are a lifesaver. I bout some low carb tortillas and made mini pizzas. They were actually pretty good.
That extra step you do with the tortilla makes this pizza so much better than other recipes.
This is a great alternative to pizza crust that is high in carbohydrates.
Thanks for sharing!
As the laziest 8th grade chef ever this was amazing thanks so much

👍 Splendid idea. I thought it was a possibility and I am gonna try it.

I'm going to try this. My granddaughter is always hungry after school. This is a perfect snack. Thank you!! ❤
We're definitely trying this very soon!
Best pizza so delicious made this yesterday and today 😊
When you are hungry, everything is gourmet.
Ok you got me. Making tonight 😅
This is amazing!!!
Great. Now I'm just going to make this all the time.

My idea from 2018

I’ll never in life but pizza crust again lol this was perfect!!!
Me either. I have always loved things crust Pizza so this is perfect for me😊
I do this same recipe but with Naan bread .

That looks so appetizing 😋
It tastes even better than it looks
I'm gonna make this tonight

It tasted better because you flipped it? Lol no
@@simplypaul8681 Yeah, because the crispy part is on bottom. Regular pizza dough isn't crispy on the top-side, is it?
She stole my idea
I made it in 2018 and she made it in 2021
She is copying
@@electrowarrior_pvz2 You think you’re the only person who had the idea to do this😂😂😂
@@electrowarrior_pvz2 ah yes copying food they somehow got the idea from inside your head 3 years ago.
Awesome

I did it and think it is great :)
Yummy 😋

We add a little grated parmesan on top, yum!
It seems like it tasted really good though
We make these quite often. So easy, so quick, so simple, so good, so cheap. You will never buy a pizza again.
Awesome 🎉great for cutting calories also. Will canola oil work also?
Nice cheese pull at the end!
❤👍
I started doing this years ago it just came to me one day I usually never put pizza sauce on it though
Could I do this in the microwave?

Not baking the tortilla doesn't work for me. I feel that's the most important part Browning the tortilla. I realize that by trial-and-error
I've been making this since college 20 years ago LMAO.

forgive my "i suck at cooking" (lol) ignorance, but what is that paper you have under the pizza? Can i just cook it on a non stick pan?
Stack tortillas for more fluffy! 😁
(But not too many! Try, like, one lol.)
Would this work with corn tortillas!?
Yes
1st Like Dished
bruh i see u everywhere
like sheeesh
Ultimate thin crust. I brush a little oil on the crust to keep the sauce from making it soggy.
I guess I'll try it cuz I have tortillas I need to eat up. But it looks a Lil thin, is my only issue.
stack two together
One is perfect I do this all the time. Make sure you brown the tortilla first. But as its Browning watch it closely.

Ever since I found out pizza can be made with tortillas(which is made out of flour too) I stop buying pizza from the market
Now roll it up
Alex delicious
I did one with spam and pinniple. It was banging.🥴
This the long way! Just cook it on the stove with two tortillas.
I want to make a protein pizza but I have no idea how to make pizza
IT ALMOST BURNED MY HOUSE DOWN
My toppings are mushrooms and olives it good
What toppings do you use?
I’m feeling lazy can I just microwave it??
If you like it soft and soggy, then yes! 🙄
That would be fine just make a burrito out of it
I don't know how but my tortilla is bumpy
Nothing is perfect
My toppings are mushrooms and olives
400? Yall eat some soggy ass pizza.
DONT TRY THIS. I did the exact steps and my oven caught on fire
Yep. 400C was a bit too much.
When your browning the tortilla first you have to watch it closely. It will not catch on fire with the toppings.
400 is not too much I do it at 450.
You stole my idea
I made that idea
I created that idea on 2018
I sorry but I have to Sue you and send you a angry mail
I don’t see a tortilla pizza recipe on your channel🤔
