After lots of videos on your channel, I've cone to the conclusion that Hoghland Homes are the best thus far. I'd definitely buy one of their homes. Each home is unique and outrageously beautiful ❤
I love how respectful you are in showing these homes.
I love certain aspects of the home. I'd make my design all one level though. The one bedroom and separate bathroom might as well be put together since the other three bedrooms have their own bathrooms. And having an actual dining room so people do not feel like they are eating in the living room. Always ways to improve.
this home size and layout is perfect.
I think it would be really elegant if they put floor to ceiling custom built-in bookshelf with rolling ladder and ladder rail in place of the long wall of cabinets on the left as you pass thru the kitchen on the way to the great room. it would also feel a bit more well thought out because I am not a fan of having to walk through the kitchen to get to the great room. That way it would feel more like a "gallery hall",

Love! One floor, excellent layout. I like having all the rooms , especially the media room, close to the kitchen….. no need for extra dry or wet bars and such. Also, the kitchen 😍is great! Big buffet space with so much room for my wine and assorted glassware/dishes 😊. I’m sold! 😆

I totally like this home front the exterior to the interior. I wanna say my favorite part of the house was the Jr sweets, I really loved the bathroom within the kid rooms that's just seems so independent to me.

OMG❤❤❤❤❤ I absolutely love this home! The one thing I would change about the study is put another floor to ceiling shelves for a library. I could do without the wine racks & put shelves in there. In the media room I would turn that into my doll collections & knick knacks as well as make it a game room for family without any distractions. I really love the patio with the screen.

Highland Homes is big builder here in Houston. This floor plan is built here in Houston.
Taylor Morrison and Toll Brothers are two of the best builders in Texas and especially in Houston.

It is getting where you have seen one you have seen all. Always about 100,000 out of reach knowing this house would be over 750 if it looked like this. I love most of it but the corset needs drawers and shelves.

Beautiful home but too close too the neighbors!
The camera movement makes it difficult to watch. It's making me feel dizzy. Maybe it's the camera you're using, or maybe it's the movement, I don't know. It's also hard to see details of the house with constant movement sideways then up and down. It's too fast and it's very jerky. Maybe incorporate some stills with a slow zoom of the some of the special places in the house along with the walking footage.
I understand what you mean about camera movement. It's why I have such a difficult time watching HGTV. I call it the vomit cam. 😉 That said, I didn't have any difficulty with this video.
Besides removing all carpets for the same wood as the rest of the home, I’d change nothing.

It's a pretty house but why on God's green earth would they have a guest room coming straight off the foyer.. I don't understand people wanting a small office in front of the house. None of this makes any sense. The layout of this house would have to be totally redone.. it might look nice but the most important part of a house is how it was built and the materials used.. so many of these damn companies cut so many corners during construction but most people don't know anything about and they try to make up for it by making it look aesthetically pleasing which is important but the most important part of the house are the bones.
I just don't think this house used it square footage in a smart way. Too many chopped up rooms
The layout works for me. Both the office and the guest room are located away from the living spaces where there's more noise and activity. An office that's away from the home's hustle and bustle is exactly what the people on HGTV ask for when undergoing a renovation. Also, before I got too old to travel, I was thankful when my accommodations were away from the family's living hubs. That way I didn't have to worry about disturbing them and vice versa.
Perhaps your front door is a busy place, in which case, I could see your point. We've never been front-door people, so that front area is off the beaten path for us. It's all how you live within the space.
