That first room to the right of the front entrance is the formal dining room, that's why the Open doorway leads right to the kitchen. Can't believe in this home The decorating portrays it like a office.

Out of all the homes you've toured, this house has the best basement, by far, it's nice to see that level of finished on a daylight basement. I am always disappointed when they make an attempt at finishing the basement but just paint black the unfinished floor joists above and all of the exposed utilities. This way looks so much nicer in my opinion. It doesn't even seem like you're in a basement.
Loved the vaulted ceilings and the covert ceilings which I prefer I don’t like the rustic beam look. That was the only thing impressive about the home in my opinion.
Question to all Americans: Why are so many main bedrooms on the first/ground floor? Is this to make the house life-proof, meaning that you can live there until the very end, since you have everything available on the ground floor? As a Dutch person, it feels really strange to me to have your bedroom so close to areas of the house where guests can go too. The front door leading directly into the living area is super strange to me too.
I like the builder and the floor plan, but, for such a large home and being a modern builder they need to start adding a dog gooming area, I think that would be used more than a massage area

That and the fact that there is cheap wire shelving in a house this quality. If I'm paying this much I want real built-in shelves.

Would be nice if done in a warmer color tone and different treatment for fireplace instead of modern which I'm not a fan of.
Just one look at the carpet on the stairs and I was done. I really don't like carpet at all, but especially on stairs.
Our tv wouldn't fit there, would definitely need to change that oer the fireplace.
