  • I originally bought the main shelter/poulncho for $59. I wanted to see if it was compatible with the late 80's, early 90's version that I already had. It didn't work because the zippers were different. However, the poles were the same.
    Because of the age, almost 30 years old, the seams are failing. I have not tried to remove the old seam seal.

    Nice...nice...Turtle wolf pack had suggested to me last year to seam grip mine from the outside instead of seam taping them on the inside. It worked out well. I still need to test them out in the rain yet.

      Should work. I am more worried about the dry, crumbling old seams. It looks like sand, especially on my oldest one. It goes everywhere.
