Surplus Smell Removal and Prevention Using Concrobium on Mystery Ranch MSOB Overload from AA Surplus
I already cleaned up the interior and exterior surface stains and dirt.
I use Concrobium to kill mildew and prevent it from coming back.
I have used this method any times with surplus items and household remediation.

I will see if i have time, I am working 2 jobs, my buddy from High School and Marines is in town, and I am getting ready for a trip! I can't test that now since I sold my 1606MC frame, but I did put it over the frame to test.

I have the Vietnam helmet. They are all exact the same. Those are from plastic. It is this CD and DVD case translucent plastic from yesterday just painted. It gives some impact protection for an low grade safety helmet. Chinese versions sometimes are on eBay from wood. I use this Vietcong plastic helmet in Latinamerica scorching heat sun on a farm. These are actually the original Vietcong helmets which are still made new. The Vietcong had a reason to switch from pith to plastic since branches and brushes will break pith when rushing through woods with an AK 47. Plastic is the way to go for rough handling. Pith just will not withstand being hit with branches and trees. The Vietcong hat works just has an to small overall brim for real sunshade. Otherwise its inner harness works and air can circulate around your head. It is better than any boonie or Panama hat. But I ordered an Wolseley pith helmet now from Village Hat Shop. I find 49$ a bit of an steep price for the Wolseley since its durability is shorter than that Vietcong hat from plastic. After all these are all made in Vietnam. I was thinking to modify an M16 german Stahlhelm for an tropical helmet but I am unsure how the steel will behave under hot sun exposure. Stahlhelm is certainly more durable.
