As a fellow Japanese culture/ martial arts enthusiast, the katanas you have traditionally, Japanese displayed the same manner in which they are worn. Because the katana is worn with the cutting edge facing up, it should also be displayed with the cutting edge facing up. Also if in time of war or expecting an invasion the would face to the right so they would be ready to grab and unsheathe but in times of peace and when company is over the face to the left to show no ill will. Japanese culture is so amazing when you deep dive into it. Especially the 90s drifting scene and the bosozuku scene they have it's so cool lol. I'm 34 and when I was like 27-28 I finally found out about it and thought it was the coolest thing to be that crazy.

Even a bolt on gtr would get gapped by a 620whp vhr tho. Vhr Chassis much lighter as well. But i see what you're getting at
