FYI for workshop users and also the alibaba users, for the back camera to work you NEED to do the 2 steps of joining the 2 Brown wires together and actually moving the RED pin wires as he showed in the video. skipping one of those will cause "No Signal" when going in reverse
Mileage might vary for you, but this fix should work mostly for NAV + BOSE + REVERSE CAM packages

How do you de-pin? When i push in the tool provided, nothing happens. Do i need it to push in certain way in order to get it loose? In the video, the red wire is already out.

I see that the temperature is showing in celsius and mileage/distance was being shown as Liters/kilometers. is there a way to change this into showing temperature in fahrenheit & Miles/mpg ?
Yes! all of that can be done in the settings, which we change for our customers in the U.S before we send them out.

I love the new tech, but I like to play old CD's sometimes too. Will that still be an option here and also what features do you lose with this change. Ex. steering wheel settings, call from phone button on wheel, diagnostic reports, etc?
You will lose the CD function as the CD player will be behind the screen however you will keep all other factory functions with our kit.
why no screws at the bottom? you pushed the unit in with the factory trim above the ashtray and it seems like its flopping around. why not just use the screws at the bottom? this and the gloss black seem janky to me. looks like it never actually seated.

I have a 2016 Infiniti QX70S
You can access all the stock cameras in the vehicle. Unfortunately we do not have a video that showcases Apple CarPlay however we do have plans to do that in the future.

Do you guys provide as an option a black mat texturized plastic frame that's around the screen as the factory oem plastic instead of the supper glossy black one? That's the only thing I dislike about it and preventing me from pulling the plug, otherwise seems like a very solid unit with great customer support!

As of right now we only have one color and do not have plans to release anymore. However we will consider releasing a matt black variant

Hey I have 2010 g37 with Bose nav and back up camera I accidentally reseted the accessory initialize on the hidden settings and lost my volume and backup And I read that I have to get it reprogrammed by the dealership which will cost me like 5-600 dollars and just wanted to know if I just buy the Tesla screen and plug it in will my volume and backup work

alil skeptical, W12 said they didnt drop ship. i had a PX6 tesla screen from PA and it was bad. what makes this one different because that they look the same. willing to give it another try if it is worth.

I recently purchased a 2011 g37 convertible with tesla screen (don't know what brand) but it has no back up camera. I opened it up and found out that its missing the connector with the yellow male jack that connects to camera from the car. Do you sell that connector? Thanks.

Why would you buy this for $1000 when you can get a 13" or 15" joying, xtrons, idoing or teyes for sub $600 with all the same features 4k screen, double the eq bands, android 12 plus 4g capabilities.

I don't know that I'm getting the best deal considering I'm getting a box full of harnesses that likely don't go to my car, so they are trash to me yet I'm sure I'm getting charged for them anyway.
Not sure we are at the stage where a 300 dollar tablet (given it's "specs") and some wiring is worth it even with the video call.. I appreciate the support, not many do that but I'm sure the ordering can be streamlined to not require so many useless wire harnesses and maybe lower the price point some.
@@clarkdavid79 all car stereos come with 1 main harness....the one to power up the radio and connect to the speakers. No matter what you (or your installer) will have to purchase the vehicle side solution needed to connect them. Could be a $10 harness or a $250 bypass module. Everything else that comes with a new stereo is for the peripherals like GPS microphone 4g antenna and are not specific to any vehicle.

There are 3 levels to adjust the brightness of the screen and they button to adjust them is on the top right of the screen.
Does this work well with the bose audio system as well?
Yes it does work with the Bose audio system.
Would this work for a q40 2015? And is subwoofers compatible ?
Yes it is compatible with the Infiniti Q40 years 2014-2016. Yes you can connect subwoofers to our kit.

what OS is this running on, and can i run/connect to Ecutek?
Its runs Android 11 as the operating system. We have not tested it ourselves however since the kit has the google play store where you could download the app it should work.
is it possible to add a HDMI input into this mod? like... the screen is BIG! I wish we can do something with this screen lol
Unfortunately our kit has an HDMI Output not input
Does it put any lights in dashboard after the install
Nope! The only light you would get is the Airbag light but that would only happen for the following two reasons:
1) you did not disconnect battery when installing the unit
or
2) You connected the airbag plug into the incorrect plug.
Regardless of the airbag light on or off you can simply reset that light :)
what about sound? sound quality is better than before?
Our system just piggy backs off of your existing stereo so the audio quality will be the same.
Do you sell updates or software for this kind of units ?
Software updates will be free when released. We do not sell the actual software of the kit.

You will retain your backup camera with this kit.

This kit is different from the ones on amazon as we do not sell on amazon. In our kit you would just change all the measurements in the settings.

Not an SD card but you could use a USB thumb drive to load all of your music.

I just bought a kit from merge screens and they recommend this video for installation. If I do run into any "issues" or questions, can I reach out to your team for support? I have a 2012 G37, the Screen unit looks a little different than the one in the video. the box on the back of the screen with the connections are at the top of the unit next to where the fans go

Black Friday sales for the G37 will most likely be the same sale we have now.
The screen resolution for this kit is 1920 x 1080. The kit does not lag and the audio quality is crisp as it has a 16-band EQ to fine-tune your sound.

You can download apple music but not apple maps.
How does it have CarPlay but you can’t download Apple Maps? Isn’t that a stock app in CarPlay?

Be mad be sad its whatever the difference between a $500 tesla screen and a $1300 tesla screen isnt very apparent and i would think a reputable company would want a legitimate install and review not even sponsored but discounted. Unless of course you already know that someone installing professionally will find flaws the normal joe wouldnt even know how to articulate

As long as the G35 has the same dash as the G37 is should fit however I can not confirm if it has the same plugs and electronics.
