    I’ve been a tech for 4 years and struggled with lifting on certain clients, and I’ve always been into helping clients grow their natural nails out, this is by far the best product. I actually bought my first kit in February and didn’t start using it until I took the clss with Tara at the nail pro, the more I work with it the more I love it. I Have about 9 of your colors so far. Looking into some new bits and the rest of the colors, sooooo exciting! THANK YOU for your dedication into providing techs with an outstanding product!

    I have a client who I am using Luminary on as a gel base because her nails were thinned out badly from her previous tech. What I do for her is I place her hand right outside of my lamp in the “glow” area of the LED light. After about 20 seconds, I have her place her hand inside for a full cure. That way she feels no heat spike.

    I'm fairly new to luminary products. I have always had lifting at my free edges with other gels. NOT with luminary!!! And I didn't even use primer!!! Absolutely in love 😍

    I don't know how in the world you see what you're doing with her fingernail upside down. Dying. :') (Also, thank you so much for your clear, detailed teaching and for a FABULOUS product.)

  • @nailsbyjenniferdowell8632

    New to using this product and I love it so far! I see that you removed the tacky layer and dust before before top coat, did you have to buff the surface to get the top coat to stick better, or not necessary?

    Can this product be used with shorter tips on nail biters or damaged nails? How is this different than other gel overlays?

    Could you do a video comparing a fill with your product vs. complete removal and reapplication ? Curious which method is better when the natural nail grows out 🤔 to fill or not to fill that is the question lol!

    I want to make sure I have this correct... you must cure each finger individually after the first initial layer...also after the first layer and the slip layer the 3rd must be done by “floating” down the nail? Can you brush on for this layer as well instead of using the floating technique?

    • @LuminaryNailSystems
      @LuminaryNailSystems  Před 5 lety +4

      Hi! No you don’t have to do each finger individually, it’s just preference and habit for me. Yes, there are so many different ways to apply it, a few thin layers in great too!

    Thx for the education!
    Did you not remove the shine on the natural nail? And do you always use presence for the first step in sculpting
    And which forms are those.
    Thx so much Kelly. ❤️

      Hi Jill! I prepped off camera, there’s a prep video as well. I don’t and I wish I used Faith to sculpt her because in the picture I notice you can see the white. The forms are from enailcouture 💕💕

    great video! i have a few questions, so why did you file her nails shorter AFTER you applied product and not before so that you wouldn't have to do that step afterwards? also, don't you apply "commit" after filing for a better adhesion of gel polish? Also, will you be doing a video on using a plastic tip to extend at all? I know that you have mentioned that your product is really only good for a shorter extensions.What about a video on a back fill?

    • @LuminaryNailSystems
      @LuminaryNailSystems  Před 5 lety +1

      Hi Caren! Thank you so much! This is totally my preference, you can file before, absolutely. You apply commit when you are all finished with your prep, that's all ;-) Yes, we have a bunch of videos planned and a plastic tip is one of them. Backfill is also in the works! Thanks xo
