- In this video, I teach you how to cook Deep-Fried Sea Bass in Betel Leaves, also known as Mieng Pla Ka Pong (เมี่ยงปลากะพง). This traditional Thai appetizer is a perfect harmony of crispy sea bass fillets, fragrant herbs, zesty lime, and a savory palm sugar sauce, all embraced by peppery betel leaves. You must try it!

Wow , I'm going to try giving this a go next week, already put in an order for the Sea Bass. amazing how some simple and fresh ingredients can make such an awesome looking dish. I'm having trouble sourcing betel leaves in the UK though, my best bet is the local Asian store I think.
I see, even though it's been a while, it's great that you found this recipe amazing. Your local Asian store should still be a good place to find betel leaves. I hope you were able to source the ingredients you needed and that your dish turned out wonderfully. Enjoy your culinary exploration!
May I know which model of camera you use for your video shooting ?
