Honestly I wish it was a permanent side event you could play with, a bit like TABS so you can get to learn about the enemies more intricately

Really cool pseudo event, agree with Dr. Silvergun here, wish they include this as a minigame for some future event.
It looks like a great 'pokemon-like' addition mode where you would unlock and upgrade the individual units through regular stages, events and such and then battle them out, maybe as a second source of module resources...Not like I even play that and I still have more module resources than I need...but then again, I only unlock modules that I need on units I actually use...

4:49 The crocodiles are made of paper. Unless they are all attacking one tanky enemy with slow atk interval whose DEF needs to be lowered, I don't see them winning any fight ever.
The frontliners are avengers on steroids because they don't need to reach 50% HP to murder everything. There are no enemies that can shift other enemies, so they win by default.
Ended up learning a lot just from different enemy interactions. Also taking into account stuff like their movement speed and positioning is fun

Hero Hour is a strategy game that has the same mod, where you can pit groups of units vs one another and watch the battle
I think this can be an excellent Downtime Recreation event, says betting 3 Life point and gain double if you can assess the enemies roster correctly.

also the shield guards are more like friendly summons
Those slugs in the 4th round are from the MH event and they deal burn elemental damage. Threatening in large groups but as you saw are very weak especially to AOE.
Next year gonna be Operators vs Operators

I actually have seen a group those prison archers win! The sides were 21 prison archers against 2 Jesseltons. It was hilarious. Poor Jesse just can't catch a break.

I was just thinking recently how cool it would be to have enemies fight one on one and honestly this is even funnier somehow.
I would gladly waste time watching some of the sillier bosses just crush things if I could lmao.
I can already see future events where 2 (or more) teams of mobs attack each other while we playing typical defense strategy (or going full agressive with hellidrops)

@@DrSilvergun both of them are our enemies so that sorta counts. I meant when 1 team is our allies or even neutral (or even whole separated team fighting you and other team, pretty much how it goes with IS4 ED4 but instead of just boss - all of them fight each other) while other one is enemies
This is a pretty good mini game, hope they add more varieties next time. Feels like you watch a RTS where they put in random units against each other (yeah hence the auto battler).
These are great. I could watch these fights all day

It took me way too many attempts to 'clear' this because I kept on going all or nothing with my bets; I eventually had to reign it in to actually pass it the first time.
I almost want this as a perma mode, maybe give a small reward on a weekly basis.
Really cool thing needing general knowledge of the enemies.

this looks super fun, might be even better than the first april fools event with the rap battle - I wish this was a permanent mode, I don't even need any rewards, seeing jesselton get dunked on by all kinds of trash mobs is more than enough reward for me
I want an event like a regular TD game. One road, enemies one by one stronger every wave, upgrade towers during the game... There are no ordinary TD mode in airknight😆

Oh yeah, this event is further proof that if HG weren’t cowards and gave them more damage then Splash casters would be the best caster branch in the game.
well, their gimmick is always active here since there is no beam, and it makes them do double attacks. its like spawning Tola and watching him globally backstab every enemy from afar. I would also argue that what make these enemy casters better than our splash caster is not even the damage, its the range (even not considering the double attacks)
@@johngoogle7037 They main problem with our splash casters is that they lack the damage to make up for the many downsides they have. HG has proven multiple times that high cost units both in DP and SP can be good.

they kill everything just split against aoe lul
True though unlike in starcraft where 5 man with gun can kill tank. Arknight's system is more in line in command and conquer somewhat so unless its a comically large amount of -def slugs and one target, the - def slugs are just debuff supporters in proper mixed battle lol
Man imagine if it was factionthemed setups or funny stuff like 30 chap7 radiomen and 5 gigachad buffed shieldguards.

Man, just imagine if they build their own version of TABS with both progression/creative mode. The rewards ladder would get cleared faster than that of RA/IS progression.
Again, can't praise HG enough when it comes to pushing whatever possible gamemode they can come up within the limitations of the engine.
AK could've straight become one of "those" gacha games that would just add UE, Limit Breaks, Pets and whatnot with no end in sight in chara progression just to have a so called 'Update' but nope. Gamemodes after gamemodes and most of them are completely optional that you can pick up on your free time.
Please I want HyperGryph to make this a permanent game mode

This could be PvP mode that nobody asked for in Arknights, just put in 20 operators inside a roster and pit them in a fight like this, and each players won't know what their opponent lineup until both were fighting
