Perfect timing. I can't get the new adjusters to consistently snap into place in my 1980. They go in, but don't really snap. With the screw on, wiggle and it comes out. When you put in the bucket, very easy to pop the adjusters out. Any ideas? Thanks!

Adjuster nuts are available from a zillion different places, where did you get those? Our suggestion is that you get another set of adjuster nuts from a different supplier and see what happens. What you are describing is exactly why we do videos, so we can continually test our own offerings and make sure they work and be able to answer question and resolve issues.

I have 1980 as well, came to this video asking the same question. Did you ever find a remedy for this?

Hi, I tried a few brands, same result. But I've learned a trick from a body shop guy who's been around the block a few times. I haven't gotten around to it yet, will this summer.
Install the plastic nut, put a flat screwdriver behind and wedge out a little bit. Then take a heat gun to it just enough to help it shape into place. Should work great.

I'm having trouble with my bucket seating center. My bezel wont go on because the headlamp isnt centered. But it's more that what the adjusters will correct. Anything would be helpful.

Is it possible that your bucket isn't spun into the proper notches? There is only 1 way the bucket will install correctly.

@@BROTHERSTruckPartsTV I dont believe so. My spring lines up, and my adjusters line up.

@@williammatthews6571 Could the truck have been hit? When did you notice the bezel didn't line up?
