The Asian nation’s Black Eagles aerobatic flight team, which will see eight KAI T-50B planes, specially-painted in their trademark black, white, and yellow, take part in a series of jaw dropping and awe-inspiring aerial maneuvers at RIAT airshow.

This team has done a great job of thinking outside of the box and finding ways to best utilize their aircraft and pilots' skill. I've been attending airshows since the 70s and this is one of the top performances that I've seen. They are a credit to themselves, their air force and the citizens of South Korea.

These were the BEST at the weekend...Italians were a close second but there was something super cool and special about these guys with their own bespoke jets and the precision they had!

I was at this show and they are the hardest working Demo team in the world. 2 shows Friday Three show Saturday at two different locations and two on Sunday. Nice work!!
I keep seeing them take off from Boscombe Down. They fly really low on the approach to the runway. They are so cool

Great footage again Elwyn, I have to agree, the Black Eagles were by far the best flying display I saw at RIAT22 the practice on Thursday was visually fantastic, due to the flying and enhanced by the good weather. On Friday, the grey cloud spoilt it for me but I still enjoyed it all the same.

Wow, these guys are outstanding, and 8 jets at one time! Watch out Blue Angels.
The team are currently in Australia and will be performing on 3 - 5 March at Avalon Airport.....I cannot wait to see these guys perform live.
They were AWESOME at Avalon! Watched them both Saturday and Sunday...the wind conditions were more favourable on Sunday which really helped the Taegeuk stand out. As a first timer to Avalon that was one special display to see.
Wow, that's a very impressive display. The aircraft looks like a love-child between the FA-18 and the F-16. Oh, and also ty for the change in scenery ;)
They were fantastic to watch on the Saturday of RIAT. Definitely a credit to the South Korean Armed Forces. They have to be in the Top 5 of Aerobatic Demo Teams in the world.
Hi 👋 Elwyn, fantastic video as always mate 👍.... I think that these guys are brilliant... and I hate to say it, but I personally think that they are better than our Red Arrows!!... because the way that they change positions is awesome, they change almost constantly!!! Love their paint scheme...

The color designs of these jets are impressive when they reflect the sun off the white and then become gold as they turn over, it's visually and aesthetically pleasing.

Thanks for the upload. I was at flyby campsite on Saturday. This display was the best formation display I have ever watched. The reds need to scrap the hawks and get some jets with burners on the back!. I missed sunday as I suffered from heat stroke. gutted!!

Fab video Elwyn. Without taking anything away from the "Reds" or the fantastic Freeci Tricolori Italian Team who have the upper hand on the aforementioned, we really are witnessing the best aerobatic display team in the World right now.

Absolutely my new favourite syncro team - was there for the Saturday display, so dynamic, and unlike any other team.
No F22 like I wanted (and not much F35 either) - these and the F16 made up for that loss though.
I was obsessed with capturing the shadows on the smoke with the sun being behind us all day, hope you didn't get too burnt, it was a toasty one this year!
I asked for you to keep it coming, you said it's the plan and you are a man of your word! :D beautiful! A piece of art!

I said that llast weekend blew the red arrows away. Best display team by a mile
As a Brit I hate to admit it, but this lot made the Red Arrows seem a bit boring to be honest.
Being in the UK I've only ever seen the Red Arrows, saw them at the Wales Air Show recently and they're good but it's not a very exciting show, maybe I've seen them too many times but it's gone a bit bland and boring, a few other people commented that at the show as well. I still love seeing them though

The Reds have had a very challenging 9 months and still no replacements in sight..
These guys deserve credit. The Reds need nine aircraft for a good display. They just seem a bit lacking at the present time, not due to any fault of the existing 7.

I imagine that, in these 'progressive' times, the Red Arrows team are more preoccupied with 'diversity&inclusivity' training (which itself arises from Loxism) as opposed to putting in the effort in perfecting their flying 'skills' and thinking outside the box to add new manoeuvers.

I've been in intrigued by the Black Eagles Aerobatics team and there aircraft the T-50B Golden Eagle it looks like son of the F-16 Viper one of my favorite fighters out there. Hope to see them preform at an airshow someday!

Hooley dooley Elwyn, your footage is amazing. The tracking and clarity is fantastic, really shows how astounding the Black Eagles team is. The livery looks brilliant in formation also. Their precision is mesmerising. I think I need a little lie down now after watching this team, hehe. 😀

They put in an absolutely awesome show and completely blew the Red Arrows out of the sky. Then again, with their years old, tired and boring routine, pretty much all display teams now outshine the Reds. Shame.
