  • To access the pin code of an instrument cluster you must remove it first or the pin reader will keep looking for the ecu and fail because the can lines go through the can gateway first. Once removed it will easily pull the pin from a cluster without a working key then you can either code a key, or match a used ecu and start the car

    How did you get the lcd display to light up? I have the same cluster here, I have connected live ignition and ground, the clocks turn on but the lcd display doesn't show any data (milage ect)
    Is this something the go diag does? Thanks

      Vag key login at the moment is the most successful unit for pulling a pin without spending a fortune

    I have a 2008 Golf V. Have you used this on that year of golf? I hear that 2008 could cause some trouble due to the immo 4 system. Also, where did you purchase from?

    You mentioned K wire but on 2008 mk5 I didn’t think there was a K wire. In that area it seems there are 4 CAN wires. Do you have the pinout you used? Thanks very much

      Send me an email to caralarmandradio@gmail.com and i will forward a pinout but to clarify there are two can wires and we dont use the k line for pincode reading

    I did the Same thing you did but as soon as i Fire up the Instrument cluster it Shows SAFE. I think you can‘t read the pin Code as Long as it Shows SAFE. Is there any way for it to not go into this Mode?

      @caralarmandradio  Před 9 měsíci

      Hi Chris i have had no issues with reading pins when it says safe. It says safe when it is not matched to the ecu
