    Just caught up with your most informative channel. Nice to see the newer better truck brings happier days along with about tine pay rates. Having reviewed a range of equivalent roles for skill, qualifications and experience - I come from a technical investigations background- clearly, Class 1 us a £50-60/hr rate with added certifications such as HIAB, ADR, TANKS, etc adding 20%. I'm not making this up as way back in the 1980s we were paid £90/hr for 3.5 tonne police recovery jobs. Also, through to 2016, when I last invoiced for a load, rates rose for vehicle recovery, a simple load and transport with safety provisions at the scene/location to £40.00/hr plus £2.00/mile...our rates were ordered ro be paid by courts if insurers didn't pay on time. So WTF happened to arrive where now national living wage, earned by pot washers in hotels is only, 50p less than many 7.5 tonne roles! No CPC, License nor Tacho needed in many roles paying £10.00/hr! Agencies, WTF AGAIN! Some are taking 20-30% of drivers pay and using them like slaves! Come on, make noise for £50.00/hr as most in the 1980s were being paid £35.00/ plus the £25.00 overnight which should now be £100.00 given the other work when drivers remain on duty protecting truck and loads! Otherwise, park up truck and duck off to a hotel for the night and see if the trucks there next day?...Just saying from what this older wiser chap knows from being an employer back in the day.

      @@MrsK2015 Funny you should mention murders, if you've seen my latest 30 second video of a driver I outed recently as a moron he kindly sent me a threatening message and has tried to "be friendly" with some of my regular viewers. Just in a spot of a kerfuffle as I swiped a Police car on the Motorway during Friday afternoons rush hour, I had blamed myself until I saw all the dashcam footage, thank god for dash cams eh? Other than that everything's going swimmingly and work is just mental at the moment. All the best to all of you down there, and if you don't here from me again I've been murdered! 😉😁🤣 xxxxx

    Hey Will how you doing? What's the point of having a mike and not singing, go on next time give us a song! Ah you must have been a good boy again to be let loose in the pretty new Volvo. Seeing you playing with the blind at the end made me think next time in there you could use that to edit from one clip to another. You are right about Saturday loads o' money, I put my name down for yesterday and got cancelled late on, so a lie in and £110 cancellation fee! I could do with a few more like that. All the best am just going to say Hi to Reg myself.

      @@TruckerWillHiab thing’s are good with me Will as I have a Powerchair now so I’m not housebound now with my MS. Next time I get bus to Glenrothes I might sit in the driver’s room for an hour or two & just have a good catch up. I must admit it was great seeing you back in the Mighty Volvo again. As I use to work on buses 🚍 when I worked for Stagecoach & the B10M will always be my favourite to work on & travel on also Pal.

    Hi mate looking to get a hiab license can you recommend either allmi or others and what attachments should i go for to give me the best possible scope for HGV 2 work. thanks.

    • @TruckerWillHiab
      @TruckerWillHiab  Před 2 lety

      Allmi is the most recognised, as for attachments it depends what your looking for, I didn’t want builder merchants work so didn’t bother with grab ect, only done hook unlimited, if you do hook I’d recommend doing it with the biggest possible crane so it doesn’t limit what you can use at a company
