Yes, you mount it further out and press the cord against the motor side. Good idea, I will do a balance video.

I'm not sure, with the light, my guess would be 5-6 hours, but not sure.
With the quick release are you able to connect the camera without re-balancing every time (presuming you keep the same lens used on initial balance)
Yes, no need to rebalance.

They include a cable, check the document on the Zhiyun website to see if your camera is compatible.

I don't think so, but I'm not sure. I also find Zhiyun keeps adding features after release, so hard to know what the future holds either.
Can you go over using this gimbal with the 16mm f1.4 sigma lens as well as if either the M2S or M3 can handle undersling mode without hitting the eye piece?

Just need a standard clamp with 1/4 female thread on the bottom.
As the thumbnail suggests you used it with either the XT3 or XT4.. How is it? Does the camera have access to full range of motion?
Yes, but it all depends on the lens. Check out the Zhiyun website for the compatible lens list.
Looks good. I still don't have a gimbal, but I see getting one soon.
I suspect Zhiyun will release an update to the Weebill S this year, which would be the gimbal to get for your cameras. I would hang out and see if that comes about, based on their latest releases, that looks like the next gimbal to be updated.
I want to use this with a M50, a Viltrox adapter, the EF 50 mm lens and a Boya MM-1 mic. Do you think it can balance it? I really like this gimbal but don't know if it's going to work :/
it would be borderline, you might be better with the M3

Really interesting gimbal 😊 I see you’re using the M50 on the gimbal in this video, but what full frame mirrorless camera have you used on it? And even more interesting, what lenses can you put on a full frame camera before it’s too much for the gimbal to handle?
I have the FujiFilm X-T4, which is similar size to full frame. Zhiyun only advertises it as compatible with small primes, but some videos online are showing it used with the Tamron f2.8 zooms. To get the full range of motion, moving into underslung positions, you can really only use small primes or small zooms. Zhiyun may release an update for the Weebill S this year, which would be the gimbal to get for full frame, in my opinion.

No, you need to use a cable.
Just got Crane M2S for my Sony ZV-E10 and realized that both of my go to lenses Sigma 16mm and Song 18-105 are too fornt heavy for balancing even though total weight is in the limits.
It really sucks that nobody mentioned this in their M2S product review videos...
Yes, so many camera and lens combinations, it can be confusing for sure.
You as well cannot put it in vertical mode, at the moment, i bought attachements for my phone and its impossible to stabilize even with extra weight attached. You have to buy extra attachments to vertically attach the GoPro, when finally attached its difficult to press record.

Thank you for the review. I'm from Japan. I've been using G6 Max. It also has a joystick and you can pan a camera on the gimbal. However, its pan speed is a bit fast even at the slowest speed. I sometimes need a much slower pan motion. Does M2S can pan a camera slower? Or do you have a video showing how fast/slow M2S pans a camera?
Some of the Zhiyun gimbals can be further tweaked, in a way that you can’t via the gimbals menus system, by plugging into the computer and connecting Zhiyun’s app. Give that a try.
@@markwiemels I used to use Crane M2 and a smartphone app to tweak it. I remember M2 pans a camera as slowly as I want. If M2S pans a camera as slowly as M2, M2S is the one for me. It's probably worth buying and trying it. Thank you.

@@TadAkimoto so the joystick is variable speed, the harder/further you push it the faster if goes. It is nice and slow when you only have it moved a little, but is fast if you push it all the way. So you can get it to go slow, but it can be challenging to just push it a little and not push it too far. There doesn’t seem to be any setting to slow it down any further, or change the speed.
I've read it tilts to the side and the horizon is off slightly, has anyone had this issue?
This can be fine tuned in the gimbal settings, when this happens. This is normal with all gimbals, sometimes they need a bit a help to know what is level. Drones often need to be calibrated like this as well.

can u do a vertical mode for this gombal?
You can enter Portrait mode (P) mode for vertical shooting. The tilt axis motor rotates upward by 90° and the pan axis rotates by 90°. In the vertical shooting mode, the joystick button will not work. ;D

What is payload of crane m2s??
The list of compatible cameras and lens combos is on the Zhiyun website, it's no longer based on a straight payload rating. The motors are so strong now, it's more about the envelope (area the camera and lens fit) and the balance.

I’m trying to upload every other day for a while, and see what happens. Yeh, I’m loving the little gimbals, and I’m using them way more than my bigger one. My daughter and I were playing around with a smartphone gimbal and an anamorphic lens on an iPhone today, with some pretty kick ass results. I hope to come up within a video idea for that setup.

Im a beginner so I know at this stage cameras don't matter all the much and I should focus on story writing, but I'd still really like to get some beautiful shots. Im currently confused on Nikon z50, the canon m50, and the sony alpha 6400, and maybe the fuji xt200
The thing is I'm not sure if there is a camera with 4k (60 fps would be nice but not a deal breaker) that has ibis (also not sure if this is very important since gimbals exist but yes) and whip pans are some of the common shots you get in films however some of these cameras have rolling shutter, so I'm really confused as to get which.

@@princemathew.1149 let me try to help instead, i think if you'd like to focus more on story writing and not worry abt the gear too much, the a6400 would be a good pick, since you can find more options for the lenses to experiment with your the stories you want to tell, not saying the other 3 is not a good pick, but for videography i'd say a6400 is probably the one to go for (or maybe m50 in 2nd place)
sure it doesnt have 4k60fps or IBIS (a6600 does tho), if budget and rolling shutter is your concern, you can instead try the latest of the SONY apsc instead the ZV-E10 which has gyro data that could be use to mostly remove the rolling shutter (sure it's a bit cumbersome to export your footage 1 by 1 thru the Sony Catalyst Browse software) and it's about $150-200 cheaper than a 6400 with 90% of the features

Zhiyun made a false advertisement with this gimbal showing full frame cameras on the commercials. Yes you can but you will be limited to use with only 1-2 compatible lenses(if you are lucky). This is a toy IMO and Mark I love your channel but you should definitely check that compatibility before saying "this is better than M2 with full frame support".. You should keep up the good work mate and I like your style.. but people are spending their hard earned cash after watching these reviews ...
Yes, the M2s is on its limit with full frame, and lens options are limited. The M3s gives a few more lens options, and is probably a better choice.
Will it load 1kg?
Check their website, the gimbal is rated by the body/lens combo, not by weight.
